Matthew 9:1-8 is the text for this sermon entitled, "Jesus Heals a Paralytic."
The lesson opens with reading the all three gospel accounts of the paralyzed man brought to Jesus by his friends who lowered him through the roof so he could be healed. Curtis explores the rich detail of the event and what we can learn about (1) the nature of faith, (2) the charges against Jesus, and (3) the forgiveness of sins.
We remember that Jesus knows our hearts, and God has given Him the ultimate authority to forgive our sins. For this, we glorify God!
