The Tainos

Many Puerto Ricans feel a connection to their ancestors, the Tainos. And the more we learn, the more they steal our hearts. Here, we chat about the day to day lives of this Native American tribe that lived in Puerto Rico when it was called Borinquen. You’ll even hear what their music probably sounded like! 

Muchos puertorriqueños sienten una conexión con sus antepasados, los taínos. Y cuanto más aprendemos, más nos roban el corazón. Aquí conversamos sobre el día a día de esta tribu nativa americana que vivía en Puerto Rico cuando se llamaba Borinquen. ¡Incluso escucharás cómo sonaba probablemente su música!
