Mardi Gras 2024 on the Mississippi Gulf Coast
You thought that Mardi Gras was only in New Orleans. Wrong. The official Mardi Gras celebrations started in Mobile Alabama and spread to Louisiana after it had already started along the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Most of the cities on the Mississippi Gulf Coast host Mardi Gras parades starting in late January 2024 and ending on Fat Tuesday, February 13, 2024. Some of the parades are as big if not bigger than in New Orleans.
Come stay on the Mississippi Gulf Coast in a vacation rental property and see multiple parades. Drive over to New Orleans and see a parade there if you have to. Staying on the Mississippi Gulf Coast is far more cost effective and our food is as good if not better than that offered an hour away.
