Welcome to this episode of the Alchemy Mindset Podcast. Wow, what a week is about to unfold in my life. If I wasn't honest in sharing all the behind the scenes things of my mindset and emotions and the ins and outs and my successes and failures, then I couldn't possibly. Be doing this podcast or be as transparent as I desire to be. I feel that we can sugarcoat everything in life and make it look amazing and great and high vibe on the socials and through the way people perceive us and see us. But in reality, things can often feel different, can feel like completely upended and I. Want this podcast to be just an open book of what's happening in my life, because I feel that's the best way I can share my journey as a business owner and all the things that go on in my mind, in my life and what's happening. So with that, I wanna share all about what is happening in my life right now. I have currently stepped into wedding week. Yay. So Francois and I getting married on Saturday and we are so excited. So at the time of recording, we are currently on the 19th of April. We're getting married on the 22nd here in Broom. We have some very. Special friends and family that have made all their way to come and see us and share the day, and it's just gonna be so much fun. My wedding planner, Sarah had said, what would you like the wedding to be like? And I looked at her and I just thought, straight away, Fran. And I just want it to be the best ever. Have lots of fun, just one big dance party. I'm not really worried about all the faff and the traditional trimmings. Just make sure there's great food, great music. And a dance floor. We're done. So we're so looking forward to it. And with that, we have 10 nights stay at the Pearl Resort here in Broom, which is lovely. I mean, it's so nice to live in a town that's a resort town or a holiday town, and you can have an extremely luxury staycation. On your own doorstep. It's pretty nice. So we're staying there for 10 days and it'll be just amazing because I am actually gonna really switch off and just be present with my family and have a little bit of retreat time because the last few months have been quite a whirlwind. Lots of other things have happened in our family, which I don't think is important to share. But everybody's good. Everybody's healthy. It's all fun. We're just in a new rhythm of life. And yeah, so wedding week. So in my mind, I had great intentions and expectations of myself, I will say, to have everything up to a certain point, everything taken care of, everything going smoothly while I step outta my business to take some time off. And of course, that means like having some podcasts already being edited and queued. It also means I was social media posts, done some newsletters already queued and ready to go. All those things that. I'm anticipating will need to be done and I don't wanna get back on Monday in May when I get back from my staycation, my family moon as I'm calling it. There's no honeymoon. We're a family now, so we family holiday together and yeah, I have to say not everything has been done. And I feel a bit frustrated and a bit sort of like, uh, if only I could have got all this done because this afternoon we're moving into the resort and I really don't wanna come home and I don't wanna have to really open my laptop unless I absolutely have to while I'm on my staycation with Fran and Ava. So with that, this quote came to mind when I was reflecting on like, just looking around the chaos of my office. There is just stuff everywhere and all the things that are rolling through my mind and all the lists of things that have to be done just even for today, let alone the next couple of days. And this quote came to mind and it was, and it's based on one from Robert Burns, and it said the best laid intentions often go awry. And I thought there, and I went, oh. Is that true? Is that something that I really wanna believe that the best laid intentions can often go awry? Or is it just saying, is it kind of giving me the reassurance that while I had every best intention to get everything out to a certain point and standard, it hasn't quite got there? Not necessarily gone awry, but it's kind of okay to. Acknowledge that. And I think really what I wanna take out of that quote is that it means to be just more flexible and adaptable to what unfolds and not to be too rigid on what your expectations or intentions are with doing all the things leading up to something. And I feel that it also means that, you know, while I have this vision of like having everything done, if it's not done, it's okay if I've got through most of what I can do. That's great. There's a lot. On my shoulders right now and I'm in demand or being stretched to, into all different places. So I am working through things as to the best of my ability and I can only learn from it. And in all honesty, if I'm ahead of the game in, say my newsletters and I, maybe a few podcast episodes, that's great. That's far better than being behind and feeling even more. Frustrated or overwhelmed when I come back to sit at the office desk and look at the things that need to be done. So I am celebrating the things that I have done, and I am also delegating things I know other people can do for me rather than trying to take it all on board myself. For example, wedding week means we need to make sure our wedding. Clothes are ironed and neatly laid out and everybody knows where to find their things. So obviously that's not her wedding dress. That's fine, that's not really taken care of, but like Franco's shirt and shorts and his son's shirt and Ava's clothes and you know, other people's outfits, making sure everything's all done. I can handle that task to my mom. She's happy to iron. She's a great ironer. So that's another thing done. But I will say, and this is the point of this episode, that in the midst of all this busyness comes this really big need to be grounded and connected, and to get out of that complete flux or whirlwind of things going through my mind. But this need to come back to being grounded and sent it. And I don't know if you can relate to that like that when we are in those states of just like, is it busy? You know, maybe you're packing to go on holidays, maybe you are in your business and you're getting all the things done towards a launch and there's this feeling that's sort of sitting in the back of you or somewhere in your heart perhaps that's saying Take a deep breath. Take a deep breath. Cuz that's gonna help even more. Take a deep breath because if you don't, you're gonna explode. Take a deep breath. Ground yourself. Because in that moment, that's gonna help you give more clarity and certainty as to what you're doing. And that's why I feel like even amongst the busyness, when we feel like we're being stretched and we're like, I don't have time to be grounded. I just get these things done and not be interrupted for the 50th time, taking that deep breath, coming back to feeling. More centered and within our bodies is really important because it helps us to stop feeling that, being in that rushing energy. And when we're in that rushing busyness energy, sometimes that's where we can make mistakes, things get missed or forgotten. Maybe that's where the intentions do go awry, because it's within ourselves to stay grounded or to be in that place of, okay, what needs to happen today? What can I do and what's in my capabilities right now? I. When we are grounded, our minds are less in that busy fluctuation. We're in that state of ease. And then when we're in that state of ease comes more certainty. We feel like we are in a little bit more in control and in a good way. Obviously not like control, freak control, but you know, we're like, we've got a grip on things. We're like, okay, I'm all right. Feel a bit more collected, less frazzled, and there's more clarity of like, okay, this is what needs to happen. We can make better choices and decisions from a clearer perspective. And I feel that when I am grounded, my intuition, that higher self part of me comes through much more strongly because I'm less in that conscious thinking mindset state, and I'm allowing that subconscious, intuitive mindset to come through that's gonna help lead me into making those better decisions. And. Being much more clearer and decisive on actions that need to be taken and being able to be more present and focused on the tasks that need to be done, rather than starting one thing and dropping it to do another thing, or whatever happens when it comes to being busy, when we're all like, whew, okay. There's a lot to do. And so what I wanna share in today's episode is about how to get grounded and share a short meditation that you can do when you are in those times of busyness and you need a moment to regroup and get centered, and it's just a really simple short meditation. I'll pop in the show notes where it starts so that you can, if you ever need to come back to this, just quickly whip through the podcast to get to the point that you want, or the meditation start. I won't. Sign off at the end of the meditation. I'll just let you carry on with your day or whatever it is that you're doing, and I hope you find it really, really beneficial. Like I said, when you are in those moments where you just need to. Get a bit more centered, collected, grounded, focused. Feel like you're in your body and less spread out and scattered everywhere else. But before we do get there, I just wanna also share that there are other ways you can get more centered, and that would also include listening to a sound. Which is something that I actually also love to do. So while I do this grounding meditation, often sound baths for me is my actual number one way to just get into that place of relaxation. And while I have my own bowls and I can play them at my own leisure, which is true, I often just love to lie back and relax into a sound bath. Somebody else is done. It's almost like handballing. It's like I'm just too much in the moment to do this myself. I just wanna listen to somebody else's meditation. Know that I'm supported. I'm gonna feel nice and relaxed afterwards and I can get on with my day. And I have heaps of online soundbars that I have saved from other healers, and they're from when I've attended some of like their online sessions, or I've purchased some soundbar bundles they've had, and they are literally my quick and easy go-to resource when I need one on demand. Because, you know, I don't wanna spend time fluffing, searching, scrolling, Googling how to find a soundbar. I wanna know where they are. They're either, and just go straight to that link, get comfortable and start listening. And that's actually what I've created for you because I want you to be able to have a library of sound baths that you can easily access when you want to relax or get grounded. And maybe when you want to ease that busy mind or just go to that place of rest and feel like you're in that stillness and everything else around you has just faded into the distance and it's just you, or perhaps it's just to help you have a relaxing sleep, you know, for the times when you can't get quite to sleep because your mind is so busy going over there to-do list. Soundbars in nature is my first bundle of short soundbars that you can have for those times. And I recorded these on my travels around the Kimberley and they have these gentle added infusion of nature sounds along with the alchemy crystal singing goals. And they are my favorite Soundbars. And I will say the one at Lily Pools is really, really special. So I've put a link to those in the show notes, and I know you're going to enjoy them and find them so beneficial for those times when you need them. And I will definitely be publishing more soon so you can continue to build your library. So hit the link in the description and enjoy some beautiful soundbars on demand. But now let's get back to this meditation so you can do this seated or lying down. But for now, all you need to do is just find a moment to get comfortable. Reassure yourself that this is just for a short moment in time. It's not forever. It's not for hours. This is just a short moment where you can become grounded. Centered, collected and feel at ease. Maybe this meditation is great for you to do before you get stuck into the things that need to get done. Maybe it's great for a moment to pause in the midst of everything, or maybe it's to do at the end of the day when you just wanna come back to yourself. But for now, get yourself comfortable. And all I ask you to do is come back to your breath, breathing in, breathing out that effortless ease and flow of your breath as it moves in and out through your nose. You can even breathe in the word relax. Exhale the word release. Breathing in, breathing out, allowing the air and flow of your breath to help you feel a little more relaxed and a little more at ease. You breath effortless as it goes in and out, soothing, relaxing, and releasing. Imagine that you are just letting go of everything. All those things are being left at the door as if you were taking off a pair of shoes or a coat, leaving them at the door before you walked through it, so that whatever you have moved through. Is left and it's all being taken care of. And even whatever comes after this moment in time is also being taken care of. Breathing in, breathing out and with your next breath out, maybe you give a sigh or a yawn or just exhale loudly. Releasing that energy that no longer serves you. It's as if everything else is now fading into the distance, becoming blurred or faded, melting away. So that all that exists in this moment is you. Now I invite you to imagine or just have that sensor awareness. That your feet are now sinking deep into the earth below, sinking deep into that warm, soft, nurturing earth, allowing your feet to just connect to the frequency and vibration that the earth emits. That helps us stay grounded and connected. This is a frequency that you do not necessarily need to know. But only have the awareness of that it's all around you that's available to you all the time. And right now, as your feet connect to the earth, you're able to receive this frequency or vibration. You can imagine or have that sense or awareness that your toes are sinking down into the earth. The souls of the feet and the heels are also. Connecting to the earth and maybe the ankles are sinking in a bit deeper, or maybe the feet are just sitting with the dirt just over the top. Either way, whatever you sense is perfect for you and it feels so comfortable and relaxing, just allowing your feet to connect to the earth. Now in your own way and whatever feels right, you can imagine or just have that sense or awareness that the busyness, the fluctuations, that all the things that need to be done are now just rolling down from your mind. Rolling down out of the mind, out of the head space. Down over the shoulders and down over the elbows, and the hands down, over the torso, over the belly, down the lower back, all the way over the hips and the buttocks, all the way out to the legs, and down through the soles of the feet and the toes, and into the earth below. As if the earth is now taking care of all the things, everything that needs to be done in this moment, so that you are free just to be relaxed and at ease. Breathing in, breathing out, allowing yourself to feel supported and taken care of. And now we're going to release all the busyness that's in the hands. The hands that are in charge of doing things. The hands that are always your hands that are always creating and making the tasks happen. All the busyness of what the hands do is now easing out of the hands, up and over the arms, down the shoulders, down the spine, down over the torso, over and around the lower back. Down the legs, over the knees, and down into the feet, so that also the busyness that you experience in your hands is also now melting into the earth below. And now the busyness that may be in your feet is also easing out of your body, your feet. That take you and carry you from one place to another that support you as you're standing or sitting your feet that are full of movement and direction. And all of this now melts out of every single toe, out of the soles of the feet and the ankles and the heel, and again, down into the earth below, so that as you breathe in and as you breathe out, You are feeling more and more at ease, perhaps even lighter, more relaxed, and that sense of feeling grounded and connecting to the earth really supports and takes care of you right now. Breathing in, breathing out, grounding down. Taking the busyness out of your day, out of your time, out of your mind, out of your life, feeling supported, knowing all is being taken care of, everything will get done as it needs to be done. Everything unfolds imperfect timing. You are supported. You are taken care of as well. You may ask for help at any time you need and know that it will always be there. Received. Breathing in. Breathing out, enjoying this moment for yourself. Feeling the feet into the earth and grounding even further down, down, down, down, absorbing that beautiful frequency of the earth that helps you relax and feel more centered and ease breathing in. Breathing out. Just resting in this space for a little longer and for as long as you need to. When you're ready and you've had enough, slowly come back to the present. You can do this by imagining that your feet are rising up outta the earth, or perhaps by wriggling your fingers and toes, reawakening yourself back into the present moment. Taking a deep breath in. And out. And then when you're ready, becoming present. Welcome back. Thank you so much for tuning in and listening to today's episode.
