As we celebrate Women’s History Month in March, HGAR President Anthony Domathoti speaks to two women who are leading the way in the Non-Profit world in our Region: Maria Cintron, Executive Director of the Resource Center for Community known under the moniker “The Hopeline”, located in the Bronx. Maria is responsible for creating the first Diaper Center in the Bronx providing low-income mothers with diapers and baby products. Jennifer Hatch is the President of Christopher Street Financial, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary specializing in the unique financial issues of LGBT couples, individuals and their allies. Jen is CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ with over thirty-five years of investment experience beginning at JP Morgan and Bear Stearns in institutional research sales. Jen believes that it is CSF’s duty to be both an activist and major donor in the LGBT community. She is currently on the Board of Directors for the Rockland County Pride Center, in her home town of Nyack, NY. She is also a co-chair of SAGE’s Leadership Committee and is also deeply involved with the efforts of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
