Gorilla Snatch: Do you have full control over your pelvic wall and muscles surrounding?
Welcome to this week's episode of No! But Seriously, Let Me Explain…! Today, we'll be discussing a topic that many women are curious about but may feel uncomfortable bringing up: how to keep your vagina tight.
First off, let's clarify that having a loose or "stretched out" vagina is a common misconception. The vagina is a muscle that naturally expands and contracts during various activities such as sex, childbirth, and exercise.
However, there are ways to maintain and improve vaginal muscle tone, which can lead to increased sexual pleasure and even help prevent urinary incontinence. Here are some tips:
- Kegel Exercises: These exercises involve contracting and relaxing the pelvic floor muscles. They can be done discreetly anywhere, anytime. To start, squeeze your pelvic floor muscles for 5 seconds, then relax for 5 seconds. Repeat this 10 times, 3 times a day.
- Yoga: Certain yoga poses, such as the bridge pose and the eagle pose, can help strengthen the pelvic floor muscles.
- Ben Wa balls: These small weighted balls can be inserted into the vagina and used to perform Kegel exercises. Start with a lighter weight and gradually work your way up.
- Water-based lubricants: Using a water-based lubricant during sex can help reduce friction and prevent vaginal tears, which can lead to a loss of muscle tone.
Remember, every woman's body is different and there is no "right" or "wrong" way to have a vagina. It's important to listen to your body and do what feels comfortable and healthy for you.
