In Exodus 32, the people of Israel turned from the God who delivered them and began worshiping a golden calf. How did they go from hearing God’s voice to creating an idol?
This message explores how distance from God, restless hearts, and unaddressed sin can lead us to replace true worship with something else. The Bible reminds us that we were created to worship God but if we don’t worship Him, we will inevitably give our hearts to something else.
True worship is more than singing songs. It’s surrendering our lives to God, turning from sin, and choosing Him even in the middle of life’s battles.
Through repentance and the grace found in Jesus Christ, we can find forgiveness, freedom, and victory.
