SPEAKER_01

Welcome back to the NextF Fantasy Football Podcast. My name is Jake, and I'm joined by my my good friend Adam. Adam, how are you?

SPEAKER_02

I'm doing I'm doing uh doing alright. Doing already. You're doing great. Yeah, doing do well, you know, I'm I'm doing doing alright, you know, just uh taking the good with the bad, riding the wave, you know. That's my life, and uh, you know, we'll we'll see where this goes. This could be a high point, could be a low point. We'll we'll find out.

SPEAKER_01

A little behind-the-scenes stuff, Adam and my wife were playfully arguing right before we started. Um it's Caitlin's a good friend of the pod, though, so I forgive it. It's just terrifying listening to these two. I was trying to have his hand off the headphones, they wouldn't take them. It was I haven't felt fear like that in years.

SPEAKER_02

Amen. I'm I'm ready to go. Let's talk some football.

SPEAKER_01

I was afraid I was afraid for you, man. No, we're okay. We're all good. All right, let's move into it. Um start with some news. We're gonna be talking about the NFC South, but before we get that, let's talk about some news. Uh, let's hit the first one. Aaron Rodgers re-signs with the Pittsburgh Steelers. One year, two $25 million, not a bad payday. What are your thoughts?

SPEAKER_02

You know, Aaron Rodgers, I've I used to not like him and his antics, but I think I think I'm at a point where we need to let the guy be himself. We need to let the guy live his life, and you know, I'm sure he likes him. He he likes himself, you know, and that's uh it's a good uh it's a good way to live his life, and good for him. Him and McCarthy running it back should be fun for the memes.

SPEAKER_01

I like me.

SPEAKER_02

My wife likes me. If you guys are who are listening can name the movie that that is from, that is leave it in the comments, yes, please.

SPEAKER_01

Uh yeah, here's the thing with that. Regardless, we'll talk the fantasy side of it too, but I think at this point we know who he is. The the only person who loves Aaron Rodgers more than his fans are Aaron Rodgers. Aaron Rodgers loves himself. Oh, yeah. Um, why do we expect anything else? I will say, as a Packer fan, the lot like this. It I'm starting to really think negatively of him. I mean, I have been for a while, but this it's exhausting.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

The juice ain't worth the squeeze. That's the thing.

SPEAKER_02

At least he said he's he's done after this year, no matter what he does.

SPEAKER_01

Yep, that is news as well. He said this is it, which is uh interesting because you would think he'd he takes me as a guy who would want like all the pizzazz of a final year, and last year would have been it. Playing the NFC North, they played the AFC East, he played as all his old teams. It's just a shame that unless they make the Super Bowl, which if the Bears make the Super Bowl, kill me, but um we're never gonna see him play the Bears again, you know. So just a bummer. Um fantasy-wise, it's good for uh let's see, who's it good for? It's good for Jalen Warren. DK. I suppose it's good for DK and Michael Pittman. I will say Aaron Rodgers was not good in in regards to like uh his pass passing yards last year. I mean, they looked fine, but I heard a stat today that 67% of his yards came after the catch. Oh boy. So he was really dumping it down.

SPEAKER_02

It was not yeah, like Kate Manning at the end of his career.

SPEAKER_01

Correct, yes. Uh fantasy-wise, if you want him as your backup quarterback, fine. I look at him as for me, even a tier below that. Um when you're when you're looking at the waiver wire, he might be the first name you see.

SPEAKER_02

Yep. And I think you take a flyer on him if you need him in a pinch, um, but then you go back to your guy, whoever that is. You know, I think that's where he's at in his career, and you know, it's uh I'm sure I'll have a game where he goes off, but uh he probably won't be rostered by a lot of people. So correct.

SPEAKER_01

I I think that there will be teams that have him because he's Aaron Rodgers, and I think there will be teams that or leagues that he's not a guy. Like I would take every quarterback in the top 20, 22 currently on ADP who are being drafted. So the last guy being drafted right now in the 18th round is CJ Stroud, and I would take CJ Stroud over him. Yep. So 100%. Uh the next big one was uh Rasheed Rice going to jail. He's going to jail for 30 days. Not only is he going to jail for 30 days, he's also gonna miss an additional month because he apparently he just got another surgery on his knee to uh to clean some stuff up. Um Rasheed Rice currently is going as wide receiver 10 in the second round in the 10 team league. Um that has to plummet, especially if you're drafting now. It'll be interesting to see where what he's doing come August when people are really drafting. I mean, this hurts everybody on the team, I would say. I think one of the scariest parts for me is that so you don't typically see, oh, I broke my probation because I did drugs, and then I'm going to jail. Like you're actually going to jail. And then, oh, now I'm gonna play. The scary part for me is that man, what happens if he breaks probation again in the middle of your season?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, who knows what he's dealing with mental health-wise, I guess, with all this, and you know, you you hope and and and think that you know he should he should get it figured out here. Hopefully, this is a wake-up call, but uh, I I just he's been in some stuff early on in this career, and I I just don't know fantasy-wise, he's gonna get hurt uh by this, I think, and yeah, ultimately like the injured name. Who knows what's gonna happen with that?

SPEAKER_01

And so he's currently going in the second round. You tell me, I'm just gonna go down three, four, five, you know, what round are you would you feel fine taking him in? Ready? Third or second round. No, third round, no, fourth round. I started thinking about it, but no, fifth round. Yep. So fifth round, you're take you say that, right? Yeah, but fifth round, you're gonna take him then over Emeka, Eggbuka, Jameson Williams, Garrett Wilson, Jalen Waddell, Ladd McConkey, and then in the same round is Devonta Smith, T. Higgins.

SPEAKER_02

You know what I'm gonna say? I'm gonna recant my statement and take all those guys over.

SPEAKER_01

And now we're looking at Mike Evans, but but that's the tier break, right? Carnell Tate in the seventh, Mike Evans, Luther Burden, Christian Watson.

SPEAKER_02

Like that's the upside is so good, but if he's getting into legal trouble and he can't stay healthy, um, he's gonna find himself down that tier really.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I think I will probably not own him anywhere. Just because I don't feel comfortable taking him. I'm with you, you know, taking him until the sixth or seventh. Yeah, and someone else will probably scoop him up before that. Yep. For sure. Uh all right, moving on to the listener question. Uh, before we get to the NFC South, it's from our boy Don, friend of the podcast. Friend of the podcast. He has a question, he has a question from more about the NFC South. If you want to have a question or listen, or if you want a question answered on the podcast here, go to speakypipe.com slash next stepf or find it on our Facebook page as well.

SPEAKER_00

All right, here we go, Adam. Hey Jake and Adam, this is Don here, longtime listener and big time Tampa Bay Buccaneer fan. But I'm gonna put my heart aside from my team love here. What do we think about Bucky Irving this year? Um, you know, last year kind of a drop-off, the year before that, he was came out of the gates as a rookie like crazy and did phenomenal. But uh, what are we thinking this year about Bucky Irving? Is he do we think he's a top five or top ten running back? Um, I hear there might be some uh medical issues with him, uh shoulder issues. And um, what kind of trade value do you think Bucky has? Like if you have Bucky Irving in the dynasty league and you want to trade him, what kind of value do you think he has in the trade? Or do you want to keep him and see how he does and try to trade later? Thanks for the pod and thanks for the uh answer to the question.

SPEAKER_01

So a lot of Bucky Irving talk, which is definitely a which is definitely a what are you Googling here? I can hear you typing, just stop.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, sorry, sorry.

SPEAKER_01

Uh when we're talking about Bucky Irving and coming off the injury, the shoulder injury. There was news either yesterday or today that I heard on the way here that he's expected to be ready by training camp. Don't love that for a guy who heard his shoulder you know six months ago and we're still not sure if we're ready for training camp. Shoulders aren't usually all as long as an ACL. You know. Um here's Bucky currently going as running back 18 in the fifth round. I don't hate it. No, my my thought on Bucky is like we've seen the ceiling, but the injury scares me. I think that's the big thing. He's going right around Brees Hall, uh, right behind Brees Hall, Kieran Williams, Travis, uh A. Chan Jr., which by the way is just terrible. We'll we can get into that later. And right ahead of Cam Scrambled Eggs, Scadabo, and Tre Trevon Henderson. My thought is we've seen it before, so I like the upside there, but there's a lot of risk as well.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, especially on the shoulders, because you're getting hit constantly, you know, all the time, and he's kind of a bell cow in Tampa, especially being Rashad White. Yep, and I I am not the biggest Bucky Irving fan. Um, I was actually a guy in unpopular opinion, I get it because it's not I don't think it's the right take, but I would take uh Rashad White over him. Like I liked him better um last year. Just but he got in there and he was doing just as well as Bucky Irving, if not better, at times, um, because of the receiving upside. So so Bucky Irving, he's young and can bounce back from that injury, but it's weird that it's taking that long to get back uh from a shoulder injury. Again, it's not an ACL, and so is he gonna be nicked up all the time? Is he gonna have to wrap his shoulder every game? Um his ADP is fine because he's got that upside, but um I almost wait on him and take other guys like Cam Scattaboo, honestly, um, who also is maybe injury prone, but he's young too, and I like Cam Scattaboo better.

SPEAKER_01

So I I think I think for me, and I think you probably are gonna agree, if you're taking Bucky Irving in the fifth round, he's probably your running back. I feel better if he's your running back three. And if he's your running back two, you should definitely make sure you're getting guys a Jalen Warren in the seventh, a Chuba Hubbard. Make sure you back yourself up. I think that's what it is. In regards to dynasty, you he's a hold right now. If you own him, you're you probably want more than what you're gonna get for him. So you probably might as well just hold on to him. That's my thought. And if you're trying to buy, and if you want to buy him and you don't own him, now's the time because I think it'll either go up or it's gonna plummet. So right. Yep. All right, let's keep going. Why don't we just keep going with the uh with the uh the why am I losing it? The Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Uh Baker Mayfield finishes quarterback 12, currently going as quarterback 24 this pat right now, uh in the 16th round. I'd be shocked if that stayed that way.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I I I mean I I'm a Baker guy, um, but ultimately, too, he loses Mike Evans, which doesn't seem that big of a deal. Oh, it hurts him. It does, and and that's his security blanket. And you've got Chris Godwin, who's older, he had a serious injury not last year, but the year before. Igbuka's excellent. I love uh Amika Igbuka, but ultimately, and we'll get to them later, but Baker, he's got the scramble upside, but he's getting a little older. I mean, he's nearing 30. I think he's 30. Um yeah, oh yeah. And and he's just he started so hot last year, so good, and and and flashy, just put up like three touchdown games, no picks, and just doing really good things. But I'm not a big fan, and this is this is where I I always say this. I'm not a big fan of his coach, and I'm not a big fan of Todd Bowles um as his head coach. Um, he's a defensive-minded guy, and uh I think it's gonna be dependent on what they draw up offensively for him, but I couldn't even tell you who their OC is.

SPEAKER_01

He's you know what he is, he's he is a safe backup. Yeah, yep. Like, oh, excuse me. Excuse me. Um he's a safe backup. You could take him as the backup to Josh Allen, never plan on playing him, and if Josh Allen gets hurt, you can slide him in there and feel good about it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yep. And I think him sorry, go ahead.

SPEAKER_01

You'll stream him sometimes if he's got a favorable matchup, and uh that's I I love the stack of drafting pet like Patrick Mahomes, who probably won't start the season and taking Baker and starting Baker until yeah. I I you know what I love, and we don't really typically talk about this. I love Baker and Best Ball. And if you're not familiar with best ball, you draft a team and then you don't set a lineup sleeper or whatever platform you use just takes the highest score of like all your quarterbacks and plays the top score one because you're gonna get a Baker game that's just crazy.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, but they'll go off.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and it's gonna happen every so often. So I really like him there. But Baker's a good backup in my opinion, but with really high upside.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, like and again, he he could surprise, and if he does, great, but don't don't uh be hasty and get them unless the bones I I like Baker if you're drafting one of those top end quarterbacks because you can wait super late and then get him.

SPEAKER_01

And if one of those quarterbacks gets hurt, slide him in there, and it is what it is. It's not gonna be terrible. You're not looking at the waiver wire. I want Baker over Aaron Rodgers, right? Um, moving on, we talked about the two receivers. Chris Godwin, wide receiver 79. He's going in the 10th round. It's not very exciting, is my thought on Chris Godwin. It's fine. He's your wide receiver four or five. Yeah, and it might not even be very good. I think the floor, there's just no ceiling. That's the problem now.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yep. Yeah. Um, I I just think he's we're we're talking uh I'm sorry, I had a brain fart going on. Chris Godwin. Yeah. I I loved him back in the day. Uh just uh great streaming wide receiver, and uh he's he's kind of past his prime, obviously. Yeah, um, but but he's he's a guy that you can't trust, do it every week, not even in the fun spot, I don't think. So he's a good he's a good guy to have on your bench.

SPEAKER_01

And and the the floor is just there's no upside. I mean, Parker Washington, Jordan Addison are going right by him. Quentin Johnston is going by him. It's like rather have all those guys. Yeah, Michael Pittman. Like, give me anyone who's got more upside than Godwin. So not for me in the 10th round. If he falls a few rounds, then that's fine. Uh and Mecca Eggbuka uh started off super hot, finished as wide receiver 19, being drafted as wide receiver 19 in the sixth round. Going around the Zay Flowers, Jameson Williams, Garrett Wilson, Devonta Smith area. Um I really like him. I think he can definitely outperform that. I think the upside's really there.

SPEAKER_02

I think so. Unfortunately, he's married to Baker. You know, he's just he's gonna do that. I just don't feel like that's an unfortunately I I think it is because it because if you want a consistent guy who's gonna perform every every week, it's not Igbuka. You know, I I think he could become that. Um, but Baker's got to prove that he can be consistent. I just don't think he has his whole career. He has not been a consistent stellar quarterback, he's a great guy, boomer bust guy, um, as far as uh a fantasy quarterback and just a quarterback in general. But but Igbuka, you know, he started hot and he still finished 19. So I mean he's he's riding that Baker train the the entire time. So I I have my fears, but gosh, I like Igbuka. I think he's I like him a lot. Oh yeah. So I I would probably take him at that ADP or even reach a little earlier if I'm really feeling it.

SPEAKER_01

Would you take him over Zay Flowers? Absolutely. Over Devonta Smith? Absolutely. Ooh, with over Devontae Adams? Yep. So you're a full round hire. Would you take him over T. Higgins? Yep. Would you take him over Ted? Over who? Ted Row McMillan. Yep. Would you take him over Chris Olave?

SPEAKER_02

That's yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so I'm gonna stop you there. Would you take him over AJ Brown, assuming he's on the uh no. Okay, so you have him almost three rounds higher than his ADP. So clearly you're high on him.

SPEAKER_02

I I must be. I I talked myself into it. Yep, you can invoke it. He's gonna be a top five uh wide receiver. Just kidding.

SPEAKER_01

Not just doing top fives, my goodness. All right, and then uh we're gonna spend eight seconds on Cade Otten. He was tight end 26, he's going undrafted. Eight seconds, go.

SPEAKER_02

He's fine.

SPEAKER_01

You still have five more seconds. That's fine. Good guy. Uh no, thanks. Um, moving on to the Panthers. A lot, not much here, fantasy-wise. So pretty much just two guys. Bryce Young finishes quarterback 19. I just don't know if we're gonna see him take a step up. That's just what it is. It's he's undrafted, he might as well stay undrafted. I just don't think he's fantasy relevant yet until we see something different. Uh, moving to the tight end, our favorite tight end. If you if you have listen, if you were listening to our year one, we love some Tommy Tremble legend. Every to every single time that Jordan, myself, or Adam are watching red zone, watching whatever, and we see a Tommy Tremble touchdown, it goes in the chat. Yeah, we talked about Tommy Tremble, tight end 43, went undrafted. He should stay undrafted.

SPEAKER_02

Yep, I love him, but that's that's perfect.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, you come on the podcast though. Um, Chuba Hubbard, running back 40, being drafted as running back 27 in the seventh round. I love it. I love it. He was so good before last year. Rico Doddle comes in, plays out of his mind. They obviously, obviously, you have to play Rico. Can he's going for 200 yards every other game?

SPEAKER_02

Are you sleeping? Do you know? Do you know how disappointed I was when Rico Doddle came on the scene? Because Chuba Hubbard buddy was one of my guys.

SPEAKER_01

He lost his job because he got hurt.

SPEAKER_02

And he was doing so dang good, right up there with the best of them, and then he just gets snatched. His job gets snatched because he gets a dinged up hip or whatever the heck it was. I was gonna swear there.

SPEAKER_01

He is running back 27 in the seventh round, so he's a running back three. He gave running back one numbers the previous year. Oh, yeah, and that upside is massive. I would imagine this would change as well. I my only thought is people aren't excited for Chuba Hubbard, right? No. So I don't know if if that ADP, but I'm gonna snatch him up as often as possible if that ADP stands.

SPEAKER_02

Absolutely. I I think he's gonna go right back to Cook and depending on his injury status. Yeah, um, I think you should snatch him right there and and be like, he could become my running back one if he stays helpful and stays in running back one.

SPEAKER_01

Would you reach a full round?

SPEAKER_02

Depends on my situation with running backs, I suppose.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, you know, you you're to if I say a full round, it means you take him over DeAndre Swift. Yeah, yeah. Quinshawn Junkins. I probably wouldn't do that. Just David Montgomery, I would. Yeah. Jadarian Price, I probably still would. Yep. Yeah. Uh big Chuba Hubbardby guys, apparently. Uh and then we got Tet McMillan, finishes wide receiver 15, going as wide receiver 14 in the fourth round. I love him there, and he can stay right there.

SPEAKER_02

Yep. I'm I'm not well, he was a rookie last year, I guess. I'm not just sold on him quite yet. And uh yeah, he can stay right there, and if he performs, I'll perform that. Fantastic. But again, here's the thing about the Panthers for fantasy purposes. They are a that's the thing, thinking garbage fire.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I'm but my my thought about Tet is here is that they're probably not going to be winning too many games, would be my guess. No, probably not. So they'll be passing the ball a lot. But I love Tet McMillian. I really do. I think he could take a jump. He's not gonna be top 10, I don't think. But finishing, I mean, being drafted as wide receiver 14, there's no reason he couldn't match that ADP.

SPEAKER_02

Yep, right over or right by uh another guy that we're gonna talk about shortly.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I don't know who you're gonna talk about. Which team do you want to do?

SPEAKER_02

The Saints, probably.

SPEAKER_01

We'll start with the quarterback, Tyler Shuck. Finishes quarterback 26, being drafted as quarterback 27, he's undrafted. He should probably stay that way, if we're being honest with ourselves, right? But what I will say is I liked what I saw out of him. Yeah, he started really on the back half of the year. It's this is another example of a guy you could throw on the end of your roster, and I mean he could vastly outperform. There's no reason he couldn't. Like when you're throwing a uh a backup quarterback or even a third, if you're really just taking a flyer, because you really can't find someone you like, give me Tyler Shuck over Aaron Rodgers. We know what we're getting out of Aaron Rodgers. We don't know for sure what we're getting out of Shuck. Give me that. Plus, they got some good receivers, which we can talk about right now, I guess. Chris Olave, quietly, I would say, finishes wide receiver six, especially. Quietly. Quietly. I was shocked when I saw that. Being drafted as quarterback 13, or I'm sorry, uh wide receiver 13 in the third round. Thoughts.

SPEAKER_02

I love Chris Olave. I I think he's so good. I think he's just with Shuck getting in there, he just took off. You know, his production went up naturally once Spencer Ridler, that epic horror show was over. Sorry, Saints fans. But Tyler Shook, uh, just quick thought on him too. Gosh, he's gonna be good. I think he's gonna be one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL in like three years. Um, but anyway, I think Chris Olave is gonna do great with him. They're gonna have a full offseason knowing Shook's the guy, um, and they're gonna have chemistry going into next year based off last season, too. I think Chris Olave could do it all again. I think he could finish in the top ten, no problem. So I think his ADP is fine. And um I think you could probably take him at the end of the second round, even uh, if you're really high on him.

SPEAKER_01

My only worry is that he has a history of concussions, right? Yeah, if that happens again, I mean that can put him down for a while. It's not a typical, he's not a typical, oh, concussion, miss a game type of thing.

SPEAKER_02

He could become Antonio Brown.

SPEAKER_01

No one can be Antonio Brown. Uh they drafted with the is it the eighth pick they took or seventh pick, one of those. They took Jordan Tyson out of Arizona State. Obviously, uh he's going as wide receiver 31 in the eighth round. I like that upside. Yeah, I really do. I like I think he was my uh number one quarterback or receiver this past year. Uh he's going a full round behind Carnell Tate in Tennessee. Um I'd rather wait and just take Jordan Tyson.

SPEAKER_02

Yep, absolutely. And again, I think it's we're high and shook. I think he's gonna only make Olave better, and Alave's gonna make Tyson better. And I think Tyson's gonna surprise some people this year. Um they they have kind of a fun offense. They do. You know, honestly, they might have one of the more complete offenses in the the entire NFC South. Um, so I I kind of like it.

SPEAKER_01

I gotta book it for you. Oh boy. I think the Saints win the NFC South. Yeah, I I do I really like what they they're building there. Yep. Um I think that the other team, I think I don't know, I just don't know what to think about the Bucks, and I think the uh Falcons take a step back. Um well we can talk about that in a sec. Juwan Johnson finishes tight end 10 going in the 17th round. Great. Another one of those tight ends going super late. Take him, sure. He's he's a back end what tight end one. Please wait.

SPEAKER_02

We've talked a lot in the pod that the top five tight ends are your your great guys, and then everyone else you can probably streamline um after that.

SPEAKER_01

So correct. Yep. I'm right after I'm looking at it. It's Trey McBride, Brock, Bowers, Tucker Kraft, Colson Loveland, Tyler Warren. That's that's the spot. And then after that, we're going double digits.

SPEAKER_02

Yep.

SPEAKER_01

Um, all right, let's finish it up with the Falcons. Uh, I have Michael Penix going here as the current starter, uh, quarterback three. Hold on. Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. Oh, hold on. They also signed Tua, right? And right now in OTAs, they are currently splitting.

SPEAKER_02

Um, or at least can I challenge you something real quick here? I'm gonna challenge you to talk about Tua without mentioning anything about you know what? About what you that's a good start. Good. Um, he's a lefty they got uh two lefties. That's just fun. Um, who's the other guy? Didn't they have a third quarterback that was gonna maybe be in the mix?

SPEAKER_01

I don't think so, no.

SPEAKER_02

I don't think so either. Never mind. Um, but anyway, um Penix. Ugh, ugh. I think the Falcons got significantly better when Kirk Cousins went back in there, which is wild because Kirk Cousins is an old man. Um, gonna be playing for the Raiders. But anyway, um I think uh I think Tua's gonna win the job. Uh and then uh I don't know. I like Tua, I really do, with his his ceilings always very high. He's got a really accurate arm, but oh boy.

SPEAKER_01

I think he's referring to the head injuries. He couldn't help it. I couldn't do it. Uh yeah, watching Tua should not be playing. We've talked about that on the podcast before, how we don't feel comfortable watching him. Um, especially because you've already made godly amounts of money. What are we doing?

SPEAKER_02

You know, just to retire, buddy.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, uh, neither quarterback is draftable right now. I think that's we can sit there. Um I will say this Bijan Robinson going as running back two. Uh or I'm sorry, he finishes running back three, he's going as running back two. Uh it's a toss-up between him and Jameer Gibbs for the first overall pick. I mentioned in my or in the NFC North that I would take Jameer Gibbs. What did you say?

SPEAKER_02

Uh I think I said Gibbs too. I I just I like Bijan, but again.

SPEAKER_01

No problem if you want Bijan, though. Yeah, no, no worries. My goodness. So here's an interesting thing question for you, though. If you're a Bijan Robinson owner, who do you want playing quarterback for the Falcons?

SPEAKER_02

Tua. Because he likes all running.

SPEAKER_01

Right now, Drake London finishes wide receiver 17. He was hurt a little. Uh he's being drafted as wide receiver six, um, just right next to Justin Jefferson going in the second round. If you are a Drake London owner, who do you want at quarterback?

SPEAKER_02

Well, considering I would never be a Drake London owner, um, I don't care.

SPEAKER_01

I I think you'd want Penix because Penix really just fed the ball to him.

SPEAKER_02

He does, yeah. He likes when he has chemistry, especially like over the middle. They always had chemistry on like a post or something.

SPEAKER_01

So tell me why you don't like Drake London.

SPEAKER_02

I just never thought he was he's finishing wide receiver 17. I think personally he'll never finish in the top 15.

SPEAKER_01

Ever again?

SPEAKER_02

Never.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, would you care to book that?

SPEAKER_02

I will book it that Drake London will never finish in the top 15 ever again. And if he does, I will do a punishment that is PG.

SPEAKER_01

No, can't be PG. That's a crazy take. Like, I'm I'm not even gonna accept that. Won't finish in the top 15 this year. Ever. Um, yeah, I really like him. Jake's really good. I don't know what your problem is. He's consistent, he's consistently been good as well. Um he got hurt last year for part of it. I think that's it. Uh the issue though is he's going right around uh Justin Jefferson. Would you rather take Jay Jettis? Of course. Obviously, would you reach for a full well that's not a full round, a few picks, take Nico Collins over him, though?

SPEAKER_02

Oh boy.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, he's accurately being drafted right now because you take you take CD Lamb over him and he's being going ahead of him. Fine, you want to take Justin Jefferson, they're right next to each other. Malik neighbors, but that ADP will drop because of the injury. Rasheed Rice, that'll drop. And you're not taking George Pickens over him. I might. You're not. Uh so I like Drake London. He's consistently good, especially touchdown upside's massive. He's like 6'5, so I think he's a fine ADP there. Adam's out of his mind. Uh, doing some research on wide receiver 20, or I'm sorry, their second receiver was tough because I didn't know who it was. So I put Jahan Dotson, wide receiver 110 this past year. Holy cow. They have a wide receiver two problem right now. Bring in Debo or bring in like something. Yeah. Uh, and then let's finish.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, hey, I got an idea. Bring in Hunter Renfro. Oh, yes. He wants to come back, I heard.

SPEAKER_01

He came back last year on the Panthers.

SPEAKER_02

Yep, bring him back.

SPEAKER_01

Uh, and then Kyle Pitts finishes tight end two, so he finally put it all together. Being drafted really late, though. Uh interesting. He's being drafted in the 12th round as tight end. Oh, I definitely wrote that wrong on the thing. Not tight end 18. He is tight end eight. As you know, getting the tight end two of the previous year in the 12th round is fine with me. I like that.

SPEAKER_02

Yep. Um again, like I've always hoped and prayed that he would do something, and then the one year I don't take him, of course, he goes off.

SPEAKER_01

It's crazy. It's crazy. Like a tight end two finish, and he's not being there's no respect there. No, that is people saying there's no way he does it again.

SPEAKER_02

Yep. And I don't think he will, but I think he'll be close to top five.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yeah, there's no reason he can't outproduce Sam Laporta. Yeah. Harold Fannon. Like, you know. Uh, so yeah, I really like that ADP a lot. Um, all right, there we have it. NFC South.

SPEAKER_02

Kind of fun division.

SPEAKER_01

It is a fun division. Next week we got the NFC West, which is interesting. We're gonna be talking uh Jeremiah Love, Christian McCaffrey, so Darian Price, a lot of rookies there. Um, but until then, Adam, unless you have something else you'd like to tell the people.

SPEAKER_02

For my boy Tommy Tremble. Uh huh. Go Irish, baby. That's all I'm gonna say to you.

SPEAKER_01

Legend for Tommy Tremble. All right, guys, we'll see you next week. Take care, be good.
