Joining Dr Proudman on the show today is the brilliant Dr Adrienne Barnett. Dr Barnett is a Reader in Law at Brunel University, London and practised as a Family Law barrister in London for over 25 years. Her specialist area of research is domestic abuse and family court proceedings and, more recently, parental alienation.
Together they discuss domestic abuse, the so-called theory of ‘parental alienation’ in the family courts, the highly anticipated Victims Bill and the importance of the 2020 Harm Panel Report.
