Episode 2
In episode 2 of "Spotlight on the Violence Against Women and Girls Sector," Lucy Hayton discusses failures in family law with Luci Coffey from We Stand, an organisation that supports families affected by child sexual abuse. Luci has worked in the sector for 14 years and provides qualified pro-bono family law advice. Luci and Lucy discuss gender inequality in family courts, including how child victims are not believed, sex offenders are given access to children, and protective parents are punished by a patriarchal legal system.
