Chapter 15 – The Story of the Seed-Grain
In Chapter 15 of All Things New by Jessie Penn-Lewis, titled “The Story of the Seed-Grain,” we are invited to look more closely at the life that is released through surrender.
Jessie helps us understand that the seed-grain does not produce fruit by preserving itself, but by giving itself up to the process appointed by God. The life within it is multiplied only as it is yielded. This chapter reminds us that the way of Christ is not self-preservation, but trust, surrender, and the bringing forth of His life through us.
