Jessie has shown us that God’s way of fruitfulness is not self-effort, self-preservation, or striving, but surrender to the Cross and the life of Christ within. What is yielded to Him is never wasted. Through death to self, the believer is brought into deeper fellowship with Jesus and into the joy of bearing fruit that remains.
