Won't Someone Please Think of the Culture?
Thomas Lambell and Sarah Kwong have a lot in common; they were both born in February 1988 and raised as only children of single mothers. Actually, that’s where the similarities end. Tom grew up on a cattle farm in rural Queensland, learned to be a DJ when he was 16, and is a passionate Formula 1 fan. Sarah grew up in suburban Adelaide, attended musical theatre classes as a kid, and now works as a high school English teacher. Their taste in movies, music and books could not be more different. In this podcast, these two friends take it in turns to share something they love that the other one has never experienced, and take the opportunity to talk about art, creativity, and how those things have shaped them.

Despite only seeing this film about five years ago, it is one of Sarah's absolute favourites, combining her love of romantic comedies and family dramas. Tom had not only never seen this movie before, he didn't even know what the boombox moment was. Join these two friends as they dissect Cameron Crowe's directorial debut, 'Say Anything...' Conversation includes being an only child of a single parent, the sexiness of John Cusack, and how weird it is for a guidance counsellor to attend the graduation party.
