In this episode, Dr. Susanne Guth-Orlowski is talking to Dr. Johannes Simböck, Team Lead of Battery Pass of Acatech. Acatech (Deutsche Akademie der Technikwissenschaften,  or German National Academy of Science and Engineering, is advising the government and society about various technology-related topics in an independent, evidence-based way. Acatech has been one of the first organizations in Germany to look into the digital product passport and they are a member of the “Battery Pass” consortium, funded by the German Government of Economic Affairs and Climate Action. Dr. Johannes Simböck reports on the current status of the project and what role Acatech is playing.
