In this episode, we speak to Mario Malzacher, CO-Founder of @CircularFashion. Mario is driving the circular economy in the textile industry. He heads and participates in research projects of the BMWK (Produktinformation 4.0) and the European Commission (CIRPASS) and a standards group at DIN to help define standards and the way forward of the digital product passport for textiles.

Mario gives an overview of Circular Fashion, the circularity.ID they invented for the fashion industry, the textile sorting stations Circular Fashion invented, and other industry projects he participates in. His examples of how Digital Product Passports are used for recycling, repair, and reuse in the textiles industry make the DPP concept more tangible.
