Death and Bitcoin

Decentralizing Death with Travis Boyer: a Hospice Nurse Practitioner and Bitcoiner

Erin Crawford Season 1 Episode 20

I put out a call on Twitter for people involved in death work/elder care and Bitcoin to come on the show, and Travis answered the call.

As a Bitcoiner and hospice nurse practitioner, Travis shares his journey about transitioning from a financial advisor to a hospice nurse, as well as valuable insight about end of life comfort care, how people and families can best prepare for end of life, and how Bitcoin can help to create a world in which more people have the means to afford, and access to, end of life services.

This is the first of what I hope are many conversations involving Bitcoiners who work in end of life care. It is up to us to create the world we not only want to see, but the one we need. To leave this place better than we found it. To restore the sacred to the end of life transition.

I'm on a mission to bring Decentralized Death to fruition. I hope you join in on the conversation.
