I have a public service announcement for you fresh off the presses. This is a newly discovered gem in the City of Toronto. With a Toronto library card and a special pass released from the library, you're able to visit a whole slew of attractions in the Toronto area free of charge. Now the pass allows you for general admission. It excludes special events.

The pass is released every, the first Wednesday of every month, starting January 2025. So the first Wednesday at 2 p.m. That's when the passes are released. Availability is limited. So try to log on to the special site. It's a special reservation site with your library card. So the idea is to...

be able to visit these really, really interesting attractions in Toronto without paying any money just because you have a membership with the Toronto Library. So let's get right to the list. The list is quite extensive. It includes a little bit over 12 attractions. So the first one on the list is the Aga Khan Museum.

which is an extremely interesting museum in the eastern part of Toronto, right by the DVP. Next, Art Gallery of Ontario. This is all in alphabetical order. Art Gallery of Ontario, which is Spadina and just west of Spadina on the south side of Dundas. So McCall and Dundas. Badashu Museum.

and also a very, very interesting museum with very unique history and story of shoes and other artifacts. Very, very, very interesting right on Bloor Street, west of the ROM. Canadian Stage, so Canon Stage is also on this list. You are able to get free admission to their general programming with

this special pass, the CN Tower. CN Tower is an outstanding monument in downtown Toronto, right on the lake shore, and it's notoriously expensive to visit the CN Tower. And now with this pass, if you're able to secure a pass, you can get in general admission free of charge. The Gardner Museum.

The Gardner Museum is an interesting gem. It's a smaller museum than the ROM and the AGO, but very, very, very well designed. They just underwent a renovation and the exhibits are quite unique. Very interesting. Hot Docs Festival. Hot Docs Festival has programming throughout the year. The membership to the Hot Docs Festival can be costly.

So if you're able to secure a pass on any of the months, then it's well worth visiting the Hot Dogs Festival for a little bit different experience than what is available at the big box of cinemas and the other cinemas in the city.

Museum of Contemporary Art, a museum that I have yet to visit, but I will definitely take advantage of this opportunity to visit the Museum of Contemporary Art, which is located just south of Bloor, east of the Dundas subway station and the UP Express GO train station. So just west of Dundas West, or east of Dundas West. Ripley's Aquarium right beside the CN Tower.

Ripley's Aquarium is a fantastic attraction and well well worth the visit. It's right beside the, literally right beside the CN Tower. So if you are able to visit both attractions on two different occasions that would be well worth your time. Royal Conservatory of Music is also on this list. It's an interesting building just immediately west of the ROM.

And they often have interesting events going on there. So this gives you general admission to the Royal Conservatory of Music. So that's something that I recommend to everyone.

The Royal Ontario Museum, which I just mentioned, is also on this list, fortunately. The Royal Ontario Museum underwent a massive renovation. It brought the Crystal Building to the ROM, which is world-renowned for its design. This pass allows you to get free admission to the ROM.

Tafelmusik also is on the list and well worth a visit at least once in 2025. It's a textile museum of Canada, followed by Black Creek Pioneer Village. So this pass gives you access to a free admission to Black Creek Pioneer Village. Obviously it excludes any special events going on there, but you are able to tour the grounds and visit the store that is on site as well as the restaurant. Toronto Railway Museum, another interesting museum.

A lot of these attractions are truly unique and well worth a visit. The Toronto Railway Museum is right in downtown, just off the Lake Shore, west of, or just south of the CN Tower and Ripley's Aquarium, immediately south. Toronto Symphony Orchestra.

And finally, the Toronto Zoo. It's extremely expensive to visit the zoo. This gives you free admission to the Toronto Zoo. That is the list. Once again, it's very, very important to take note that the TPL map pass is available on the first Wednesday of every month starting in January.

and you have to access the reservation site with your valid Toronto Library card. So if it has expired or if you don't have a library card, I suggest you hop online or visit your Toronto Library, get the card or renew it at your earliest convenience.

That's it. All of the list will be in the notes as well as my contact information. If you want more information or just to contact me with regards to what is on this list. Ciao, ciao!
