Experiencing recurrent miscarriage or baby loss can feel incredibly isolating. When you're searching for answers, navigating the healthcare system or simply trying to get through another day, having the right support can make all the difference.

In this episode of the IVF Abroad Podcast, I'm joined by Samantha Catanach, founder of Chasing Rainbows Infertility and Baby Loss Support Charity.

After experiencing seven pregnancies and five miscarriages before becoming a mum, Samantha shares her own fertility journey and how it inspired her to create a charity that has become a lifeline for hundreds of families experiencing infertility, recurrent miscarriage and baby loss.

Together we talk about the emotional reality of pregnancy loss, why self-advocacy matters, the importance of compassionate support, and why no one should ever feel they have to navigate infertility or loss alone.

Whether you've experienced miscarriage, recurrent pregnancy loss, unsuccessful IVF, infertility or pregnancy after loss, this episode is full of honest conversation, practical insights and hope.

In this episode we discuss:

  • Samantha's journey through recurrent miscarriage and baby loss
  • Becoming a mum after five pregnancy
  • Why being told it was "just bad luck" wasn't enough
  • Fertility investigations, immunology and thyroid health
  • The importance of advocating for yourself
  • Pregnancy after loss and living with anxiety
  • Why peer support can be so powerful
  • Navigating NHS and private fertility care
  • The importance of recognising that all loss matters
  • How Chasing Rainbows supports families
