Vaginal dryness and Menopause - Sandy Davies
Are you a woman experiencing perimenopause? or perhaps you know someone who experiences menopause? Over 70% of women over the age of 40 will experience dryness. We are living much longer than generations before us. Moisturising is one of the components of ensuring we thrive and soar rather than wriggle and scratch our way through midlife.
Sandy Davies, our guest on this episode of Wow Love Light Inspire, opens up about the symptoms of menopause, menopause itself, and its effects on most women’s intimate areas, and how she came up with a solution, creating a moisturizing balm specifically for the vulva and vagina. Sandy's catchphrase is if we feel good down there, we feel good everywhere. If you can't figure out why you're restless and fidgety, this episode might just change your life.

Quotes:
“Nobody knows this is a major problem because we don’t talk about anything below our waist.” -Lorene Roberts
“Because we don’t talk about it, we think that’s just the normal way to feel…”-Lorene Roberts
“Everybody’s experience is unique, and everybody has different symptoms”-Sandy Davies
"It's a good thing to remember that it is a transition period, and it will pass, we will get through it…" -Sandy Davies
About the Guest:
Sandy Davies' mantra is that it is never too late, and we are never too old; she finally found the time to pursue her lifelong dream of authorship. Sandy was driven out of semi-retirement after developing an allergy to a medication used to treat perimenopausal dryness in intimate areas. She is now the founder and formulator of Queensland's award-winning HappyPauseTM Balm. When not writing and heightening menopause awareness, Sandy enjoys helping others and spending time with her husband and their rescue dog Karma hunting nautilus shells along the fringing reefs on the edge of The Coral Sea.
