Staying Passionate But Productive in Your Doula Career
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Being a dedicated doula means embarking on an incredible journey of supporting families through childbirth and beyond. Yet, this path, filled with passion and purpose, often comes with challenges. We encounter demanding schedules, maximum client capacity, and the relentless pursuit of making ends meet.
In this episode, I will talk about what it feels like to be in the heat of burnout and how we can recognize the signs before it's too late. This serious dedication, while admirable, can creep up on your personal life and financial piece of mind. Of course we love our work, but the constant balancing act often means missing out on life's precious moments and financial stability.
But here's your reality check... Burnout doesn't have to be your constant companion.
Having been down this road, I've discovered a long term approach that can alter the course of your doula journey. I have learned to smartly manage the business side of my practice, only making choices that cultivate a sustainable career. This all became possible when I shifted towards a doula agency model. This isn't just about working hard, it's about working smart.
Envision a life where you enjoy time freedom with your loved ones, achieve financial health, and continue your passionate work, all while keeping burnout at bay.
