What is up one and all? Guess what? It is a Tuesday. It's a brand new The Cuddy Adventure. A show that may piss you off or may make you laugh, but it's gonna make you do something. Hello one and all, everybody gets ready, get started. Let's get going into a brand new show. How is everybody doing? Hope you're doing well. Lately, I've been getting a lot of people calling me an a-hole, or you don't know what you're talking about. I even got somebody uh, you know, accusing me of being drunk. There you go. You see the stability that there is in the world of social media. Because why? Just pointing things out, you know. So if everybody knows, you know, World Cup ended on Sunday. And Spain, Argentina battled it out, Spain came out victorious. Great team. Now, Trump was there to give out the World Cup trophy to the Spanish team, and he was shaking hands, giving out medals, and then at the end he gave uh the trophy to the captain Rodri was his name. If you don't know um soccer, if you don't know the teams, the players, whatever, the captain gave the got the trophy, and you can see he was trying to keep Trump on the stage. Right? Wanted him to stay. Then you had a bunch of other players there doing the Trump dance and wanting them to stay there, but he walked away off the off the stage. Now you would think, okay, you know what? Good for Trump not making it to have him stay up there. It was allowing the Spanish team to um enjoy their trophy, enjoy the moment, you know, once could be once in a lifetime they win this thing. Well, leave it to the nut jobs in the media and just the people who follow the nut jobs in the media to spin this in an entirely different direction. But here's where the tell happens two different stories from the nut jobs. Okay, you had one side saying he was wandering around not knowing where to go when he was walking off the stage, then you have another story saying he wouldn't leave the stage, you know, and the Spanish team were mocking him. So you can't do both at the same time, you can't be barging your way onto the celebration, then at the same time, also be wandering around not knowing how to get off the stage. Either he was trying to get off the stage or he wasn't trying to get off the stage, and this is when you know people are fucking crazy, and it's not just that, then when I point like point out how the Spanish players wanted him to stay on, Rodri was trying to pull him toward him, some of the guys were dancing, I was told I was delusional, I don't know what I'm talking about, and I'm like, well, now wait a second, you're trying to tell me that the moment that these guys are about to put up in the air the biggest trophy when it comes to international soccer football, they're more concerned about mocking the president by doing the dance he does. I don't think they would be dancing, doing that dance by mocking him. I always said, right, you know, this algorithm that's supposed to, you know, help you find more things that you like. I think it's the most detrimental and ridiculous thing when it comes to people because you know there was one thing, there was a time in in the world where there was, you know, crazy houses, where there was mental asylums. Those are gone now. So now you have a bunch of people running around that probably could get treatment that aren't getting treatment, and then when you have these algorithms that just show them what they like, whether it's true, fake, false, I don't know, whatever it is, they're you're still getting inundated with all of that. And I'm like, okay, now wait a second. These guys wanted him to stay on stage to mock them while they're receiving the trophy that they've that they've worked all their lives to get. This is when things don't add up, but then at the same time, you're telling me he's walking off the stage. And then when I point this stuff out, and here's even a better one. And it's not just like fringe people, it's like the top of the chip food chain media in certain countries. There was a paper, which I'm not gonna say which one it is, but you kind of know when you think about it, in England that said that the the guy who scored the goal for Spain was wearing a make Spain great again hat. Looked just like the make a make America great again hat. And they said that that guy was mocking him. Again, if you were gonna mock him, it would have said something like Spain's already great or something like that. Not the exact same slogan as Trump's, but this is a big paper that put this out, and people will believe it. And when I point this out to people, I say when they just call me delusional, a moron, whatever they want to call me, and I give them facts, I get a FU, I get some ridiculous emoji, or I just get blocked. That's when you know you're losing an argument. I can't believe that people have no desire to see any other. And this is my this is where I'm going with this with this show. It's like I'm okay with finding with hearing, finding, learning a different kind of thought than what I thought was true. But when there's nothing to back it up except of I'm an idiot, that's not giving me an alternative to my thought. It's crazy when people go about doing this, and and again, it it was right there to see, but I don't know if people refuse to see it, or when they look at it, their brain, because they've been like hit over the head with a Thor hammer blow, you know, with the lightning and all, that they will just not believe it. I don't know where else we can go with this. And look, you may not like him, but you gotta admit, it was fun to watch the Spanish players interact with him, you know, but they won't, they won't believe it. And it's like that with so many things. It's like no matter what it is, it's like, you know what? No, fuck you. I don't like you, I don't give a shit. You may tell me it's true, it may actually be true, but I don't care. You could tell people that are on this craze, just like vendetta tour. You could tell them, alright, today it's gonna be 90 degrees and sunny. They'll wake up and tell you it's raining. That's how fucking crazy these people are. Because I don't know what other truths you want. There was Rodri, the captain, trying to keep him on stage, and he was fun happy to see him. There was the guys dancing with Trump when he was dancing. There was the guy who scored the winning goal, which by the way, he scored the winning goal, celebrating with fans, and you're telling me he put that on to mock Trump. So their brain is so worried about Trump. Meanwhile, these guys are from Spain now. Remember now, Spain, not America, Spain. Yet they that's what they're there, it's going through their head rather than celebrating. This is when things don't add up in these people's worlds, two and two equal 12. That that's where they go with this. It's like, no, no, no, you know, two plus two is four, and they'll yell at you as saying, no, you're an asshole, it equals 56. What? I I thought it was fun to watch, and again, give full credit to Trump. He didn't go all crazy about it, he didn't stay on stage even though he was asked. And then I loved also, and I don't know if he was told, I don't know if he was kind of not warned, but just kind of giving a heads up, or he knew, maybe he knew, I don't know. But you're not supposed to hold the World Cup unless you won it. Well, Brazilian Ronaldo, who is like one of the greatest ever, brought it over to him in the uh box he was sitting in, and Trump didn't grab a hold of it. You know, I can guarantee you some of these a-hole, you know, that act as if we're for the people, politicians would wanted to hold on to it, get pictures with it, and they wouldn't have known. And a bunch of people who probably would have yelled at Trump for even touching it will say, Oh, well, that's alright, because they don't know. Well, maybe they should know. Isn't it the job of people to kind of you know research where you're going, when you're going, if you're not sure of what's going on? It's just me, or is that true? But it's like that with so many things now, and everything is like yeah, it's nothing is free thinking, it's pick a corner, stay there, and if you don't like it, F yourself, right? Everybody is on this pick a corner, nobody wants to kind of think neutrally. I give you a great example. So, music has always been an individual thing. People liked things, people didn't, and this is all over the place. Like, you could find like heavy metal like legends that liked you know, RB, or you could find like this hardcore rapper that loved like Iron Maiden, you know, like all these kind of different things, and it was always like that. Now it's either people are so brainwashed into thinking a certain way that you can't admit like you like uh a rock or a country singer, or the other way around, you you you know, you're afraid to say, but again, here's the crazy thing, right? If you're sort of a neutral or lean towards, say, Trump or even a conservative, you're more likely to say, Yeah, that's cool. I I enjoy that music. They, you know, even though their ideas are different than mine. But if you go to the other end of the spectrum, like say, for example, Bruce Springsteen. Bruce Springsteen, if you told him, you know, Morgan Wallen or I don't know, Ted Nugent is is Republican, which I mean I think you know Ted Nugent is, but he would say that that's trash. I would never listen to that. But if there was an artist that was on the other side, they'd be okay with that. Or fans. Fans now are picking and choosing sides, and I think it's stupid no matter what. I th unless it's like to the extreme, then you're like, well, fuck, you know, fuck this shit. But say I just saw Ella Langley's song Texas Texas Over Me, whatever it's called, is number one on the charts, and it's been there and it's gonna break Whitney Houston's uh song from the bodyguard as a longest, I don't know, like female artist or whatever it was. It's gonna beat Whitney Houston, and the people in the comments would are acting like it's you know a sin. Or it was like, you know, they were uh not feeding children or something when they heard this, you know. It was like Pearl clutching, gasping for air, oh my god, and I'm like, what the hell is wrong with you? And then aha. I saw the reason. The person who started the thread started losing her shit. She said, you know, the one person said to them, Well, what's the big deal? So what? It's a good song, right? And the other one said, She's MAGA. And I'm like, that's that's what you're basing what you like and dislike. So you're saying art, music, films, if somebody I you know, I don't even know, quite honestly. I don't know if Ella Langley is a Trump supporter, if she votes Republican, Democrat. I don't even know if she votes. And guess what? I don't give a shit. Who should you give a shit? Not really. If you like this is how this is where I'm going with this. This is how fucking crazy people are. They're basing what they enjoy off of politics. Whoever, and I lean toward Obama, when they made this thing of politics before him, you know, people voted, some people had problems with this president or that president, but it was not something, and this goes to show you it's you know what I compare this to? If you ever saw the movie The Big Short, right, about the uh crash, it was an amazing movie. But at the beginning, he they're talking, the narrator narrator is talking about how banking was a boring, shitty industry that nobody cared about. And then when the one guy brought in, you know, hedging their bets on mortgages and all that, they went from the country club to the strip club. All of a sudden, everybody wanted to do it. That's sort of like now with politics. Before 08, people were into it, but like the news channels weren't that big. Now I'm seeing like the the hosts of these shows act like they're supermodels. Who gives a shit, quite honestly? If you vote you vote for who you want to vote for, Gene Simmons. Remember what he said? I don't like what he did with COVID. However, again, I can separate. He was like, it's nobody's business who you voted for, and that's the whole point. That is the whole point. Ella Langley, I don't know what her thoughts are on politics, and I don't care. You know what I mean? It doesn't matter. If the song's good, great. But for this person online to start like a mile-long thread screaming and yelling, basically using capital letters on X, which is her their screaming, that they won't like the song because they think that Ella Langley's MAGA is so fucking stupid. Because if that was the case, like look, people think Bruce Springsteen's music is shitty, some people think it's good. That's a preference. That's okay. I'm good with that. Like, if you like the music, awesome. If you don't like the music, uh that's great too. But don't dislike it because he hates Trump. And don't like it because he hates Trump. Like it because you like the music. I think that's what's kind of been lost. Same thing with films. You know, I see now look, I have my issues with the Odyssey because I think it's like, I understand. Now look, he may not say it, he may not admit to it, but Christopher Nolan knows now there is criteria to how you get uh nominated for the Academy Awards, which is again a fucking dumb thing. You shouldn't have to have X type of people in your film in order to get nominated, you know, like X amount of minority actors, X amount of this. Are we gonna now wait for like how many little people are in it? You know what I mean? Like, what are we doing next? How many transgender people? Like, you know, they're gonna remake Troy, and Brad Pitt's part is gonna be played by what's the one that did the Bud Light commercials that was um a guy, like a girl, whoever that was, right? Bud Light, great job, right? You know, they went the complete opposite then. Um and this is the thing. Just make it because you want to make it done well. Now, I'm not gonna, I'm not doubting Christopher Nolan's filming and the kind of the whole picture as a package is probably gonna be very good. I think, you know, when you see his films like all the background and the scenes and everything, awesome. I I don't like how you manipulate the characters into something that they're not, when they're not that, you know, nationality, when they're not that gender, when they're not that whatever. But again, when you pass judgment on everything because of one thing, you know, I'll I'll say, well, I love this part of the film. I thought this was stupid as shit, right? Like, so there's parts like that. It's okay to like parts and not like part, not to dislike parts. But I thought it was absolutely asinine when I saw that the reason that they don't like the fact that Ella Langley is gonna break Whitney Houston's record on the charts, not because they dislike the song, not because they dislike Ella Langley, or whatever, not the fact that they dislike country music, which by the way, the irony of this argument, here you want to hear the big irony of this argument. This same person screaming Ella Langley is MAGA, and you know, about Whitney Houston's record. Whitney Houston's record is singing a remake of a song by you know who? Dolly Parton, who is a country singer, which is basically Ella Langley 40 years ago. You can't make this shit up, and this goes back to the beginning of my show. When you're thinking this irrationally, you're all over the place. Nothing makes sense, nothing adds up, and when you throw facts at somebody, if they just throw an F you at you, just basically go pat yourself on the back and go, uh-huh. See, just as I thought. Because I just saw that it's gonna be the first time in 35 years, I think, that there wasn't a rap, hip hop, whatever song on the top, whatever chart, 10, 20 top chart, right? And I know what's gonna happen. You're gonna hear, well, that's because it's so racist nowadays. And nowadays, you're saying now is more racist than years, even 30, 35 years ago, which by the way, back then it wasn't either. Everybody just got along. No, you know what the problem is that most of The rap RB is shit. It's crap. The stuff the beat and the lyric, well, if you even consider them lyrics, nothing matches up. There's no rhythm to it. There's no, you know, good beat to it. You know what made and it everybody got into it like 91-ish, 92, everybody was getting into like all sorts of different stuff. Whether it was on the softer side, you know, where you had like RB stuff. Um what was it? Tony Tony Tony, Bobby Brown, things like that, or you had it on the other side of it, like, you know, super heavy. It was like the equivalent to heavy metal, you know, NWA and Ice T and all of that, right? So you had all bunch suburban kids loving it. Whether it was like trying to get hyped up, you know, it was real super angry, but there was a beat to it, there was a rhythm, but the and the lyrics were like hard hitting. Or you had the other side of it where you had you were at a dance party or you were at a house party, whatever, and people wanted to dance. You know, guys were going there to dance with girls, girls were going there to dance as well, and everybody was enjoying it. Now you don't have either. You don't you have real like super feminine like RB rappers who are trying to act tough, but it's like, dude, what? Or you have shit that is just so bad, nobody cares. That's the big issue, and people are bored with it. If it's good, here's the thing: I think if you put out good music, entertaining music, whether it's like very thought-provoking kind of, you know, whether it's you know, rap, rock, whatever it is, or it's very entertaining, good beat, fun lyrics. It's gonna catch on no matter what the genre is. People, I think people that are race hustlers, both sides, want division. They want you to go like, well, I don't like that because it's heavy metal, I don't like that because it's rap. It's like the people that are into entertaining things are gonna like it no matter what. This goes back to what I was saying. You'll find the heaviest of heavy metal people enjoying some pop stuff, some rap things, and then you'll get the rappers who will enjoy, you know, rock, metal, punk rock. You know, I always go back to a guy like um little Wayne, right? He he skateboarded, he liked rock music, he would play guitar, or you had like this goes so far back, and this is what I'm saying is like how they'll say now there's no rap on the charts because there's so many racist. No, it's because there's so much shitty music. Because if you go back, and maybe people don't even know this, there was a whole album that was dedicated to rappers and metal bands coming together. There was a song, it was Onyx, and I want to say Biohazard, and people are probably like, Who the hell are you talking about, Byrne? Yeah, go look it up. There was a whole album where it was a mixture of rap rock, but you know where that came from. Even earlier than that, uh a metal band, thrash metal called uh Anthrax, love the band, love them. They came out and did a collaboration with Public Enemy. Now, if you know Public Enemy, they were like super political, whatever, and they had a song, Bring the Noise, that they did and remade with a metal band called Anthrax. So I'm not gonna listen to the nonsense when it comes to well, the reason that the that there's no rapper RB is because it's racism nowadays. Bullshit. It's that it's all shit. You know, I'll give you a great example. Bobby Brown, he had songs on Ghostbusters 2 soundtrack, he had huge hits, and it was and and his shit was played at high school dances, dance parties, white kids, black kids, you know, purple kids, whatever, we're all dancing to it. So I think it's people are now so quick to label or so quick to jump to conclusions because I'll tell you right now, you know what would happen, and this is probably a big thing too. People are petrified, not everybody, but a lot of people are petrified to come out and say, Yeah, you know what? I I think like Trump has some good ideas, or you know, I think that I like some of the stuff that they're talking about. Why do you think that there's so many like people that are gonna move into Florida, into Texas, you know, into a bunch of southern states? California used to be everybody's go-to. Now I'm not saying it still isn't, but like for me, that I would love to, you know, set base camp up there, but why would I want to go there and like just start giving my money away to shit that I don't agree with? And people that try to play and act the part that like, oh Republican bad, they're moving into those states. Why? So I I think that nowadays people are too quick to label shit. Maybe it's that it's not that good, or in the case of the Ella Langley thing where the woman who, let's be honest, probably has some the woman who is screaming about, well, I uh she's MAGA has probably a lot more issues than we think. You know, it's probably not the fact like when you can get brainwashed that easily, and you know, when you can just run around saying, Well, I don't like it because it's MAGA, you're kind of dumb. Like you're you're gonna miss out on a lot of good things. Maybe don't allow pol and I I hate when I hear people say, How can you not care about politics? It's not that I don't care, it's that it's none of your fucking business. If I like a person or I dislike a person, you know, you shouldn't be able to tell me. I, you know, I've always been told music, uh, entertainment, art is in the eye of the beholder. Now it looks like it's in the eye of the beholder only if you agree with what the person's politics are, and if that's how you're gonna go, holy shit, you've got some serious fucking issues when it comes to shit like that. I think that it's great to see a person like Ella Langley on the top of the charts because it's something different, you know, and it also I'll tell you this: I was in the uh industry of like the punk rock, early 2000s, punk pop, all that stuff, like around that with a business, and when it started, it was amazing, you know, it was so new, fresh, it was entertaining, so much energy. But then when the music industry figured out like this is big, and they just started sending people all over the country, mostly like which is crazy. The two big plays like you saw industry execs everywhere in obviously Southern California, but then also like New Jersey, like a small state, was bombarded with execs looking for the next act, and then it got saturated, and they just started to make bands. You could tell the legit bands and the ones that were fake. Then that's I think what happened to this rap industry. It got huge, you know, the 90s, early 2000s, RB, and then rap kind of separated, it was like two different genres, but then it kind of got melded into this like Frankenstein's monster, except it was like the fruit cup version. It was just it wasn't like heavy, it wasn't rough, but it wasn't also to dance to. It was sort of like a guy rattling off a bunch of sounds and noises, and then people wonder why it's dropped off the charts. Well, maybe this will be a reset and something good will come out of it. Now, I doubt it because too many people will scream, you know, either racism or your MAGA or your I don't even know what, but I just think that that's a big thing that people just can't get out of their own way when it comes to having to pigeonhole themselves into shit.
