Today we have Krista Lockwood back on the show because we can’t talk about consumerism without talking about waste.
The reason this is so important to talk about is because even though we may have the best intentions, the hard truth is that our recycling and donating efforts aren’t enough to offset the sheer amount of waste we produce!
We end up pushing off our discarded stuff onto third world countries, and most makes its way to the landfill.
And if we can get a better understanding of how much waste we produce and where that waste is actually going, hopefully we’ll be more motivated to consume less in the first place.
