Joining us for this conversation is Melody Murray. Melody is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and Child Mental Health Specialist who is an expert in childhood trauma, family dynamics and suicidal ideation. She has a private practice, counseling individuals 14 and up. She's had experience as a school district Mental Health Liaison for students and families in crisis. and she co-hosts relationship conversations to a local audience in Houston, TX. Her goal is normalize and validate the human experience and destigmatize mental health therapy.
She completed first book, “Mourning the Living” and spent four years as a Hospital ER Mental Health Evaluator assessing homicidal and suicidal patients.
She also has experience in the entertainment industry as a former reality TV producer and director, a standup comic and as a former children's show co-host
