Today - December 25 - is Saturnalia, Sol Invictus or 'Christmas'! While we seek to honor The Lord Jesus Christ every day of the year, this non-Biblical (and indeed anti-Biblical) holiday (see Jeremiah 10) isn't something Matthew celebrates, nor could he, in good conscience condone adherence to its many pagan symbols.
