She didn't come in swinging. She wrote up her own proposals, offered to handle her own packing and cleanup, and asked the brokerage to simply honor the guarantee she was promised in writing before she ever signed anything.
In Part Two of this two-part story, we pick up where Part One left off — the moment she went back to Brokerage and asked them to make good on their "Buy Back Guarantee." We talk about how many times someone from the brokerage has come out to look at the house without ever giving her a straight answer, what's actually been said to her along the way, and whatever happened to a promise that claimed "no gimmicks, no false promises." Months later, she's still living in a home she can't fully unpack, still watching her dogs struggle with what's underneath it, still putting plans like foster parenting on hold — waiting on a promise that hasn't been kept.
