Hey, there it's, Michele. Welcome to episode one of New Creation Meditations. As we begin, I'd like to invite you to put on a pair of headphones, if you can, and close your eyes if you can, unless you're driving. Start out by taking a nice deep breath in and let it out. And take one more deep breath in and breathe out.
Michele:You came into this world for a single purpose to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. Your existence here is not an accident. God has created you out of His heart of love and, through His ongoing presence and desire to be with you, he intends for you to stand in this life as a witness to that love. Who are you that God would love you so much? You are a magnificent creation, fearfully and wonderfully made, with a massive soul comprised of eternal matter that will far outlive this body that you now inhabit. You are His beloved. Before he laid the foundation of the world, he had you in mind to be here now. God had a dream in His heart and now you are His dream come true. You are His beloved.
Michele:In response, I'd like to invite you to put your hand on your heart and say to the Lord, "I am your beloved." One more time I am your beloved. Take a moment and just breathe in that truth because you are His beloved. And if you ever forget, just come back to this meditation.
