In each episode of 100 Songs, either Tim Malcolm or Chris Jones picks 10 songs released in one calendar year, revealing a theme along the way. At the end of 10 episodes, they will have selected 100 songs from the same year. Our first 10 episodes are all about 1986.

This week on our deep dive into 1986, Chris wants us to take a trip around the world. Errr, sort of. There's a lot of Britain and U.S. here. But the idea is to feature songs about places. Errr, sort of. You'll get the B-52s, the Beastie Boys, Frank Zappa, Madonna and the Housemartins (for some reason).
