In Mark 5:21–43, we see two desperate people come to Jesus believing He alone can help: a synagogue ruler whose daughter is dying, and a woman who has suffered for twelve years with no hope left. Through interruption, delay, uncleanness, and even death, Jesus reveals not only His power, but His deep compassion for hurting people. This sermon explores what it means to trust Christ when His timing is confusing, prayers feel delayed, and circumstances seem hopeless. Faith in Jesus persists because His compassion is greater than our desperation.
