Ep 13: How to Greet a Dog
Show Notes

Greeting a dog is something that should be done on their terms, not yours. It may be hard to resist the urge to run up to a cute dog you see in the park and pat it on the head or give it a big hug and a kiss, but this is not a respectful way to greet a dog. In fact, it can be threatening and cause the dog a lot of distress. In today’s episode, we cover what you absolutely should not do when meeting a dog for the first time, and how you should approach them instead. Your homework for today is to watch how two new dogs greet each other; then you’ll be able to see in practice the lessons that we share with you today!
