At Kismet Salon, we hosted our very first live panel event—an intimate, electric evening bringing together five voices shaping the beauty industry from distinctly different paths. Gabriella Price (esthetician), Amber Rose (hairstylist and makeup artist), Fabe Gutierrez (teacher and esthetician), Rachel Lita (set hairstylist), and Nicoletta Gauci (salon owner and hairstylist) joined us for a conversation that went far beyond surface-level beauty.

Together, we explored what beauty means in today’s cultural climate—how it’s evolving, who gets to define it, and how each of us participates in shaping that narrative through our work. Each panelist shared their origin story: the risks they took, the pivots they made, the environments they had to outgrow, and the defining moments that led them to where they are now.

What unfolded was an honest, layered dialogue about identity, artistry, business, and staying aligned in an industry that’s constantly shifting. More than anything, it was a night rooted in connection—between artists, between disciplines, and within a community that’s hungry for depth and authenticity.
