The Speaker's Forum is held each Sunday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Forum topics often address and spur dialogue about a current local community, statewide, national or international issue. Some forums feature a local author and the topic of the author's new book, or a representative of a local non-governmental organization (NGO) describing the organization’s work, programs, and accomplishments.

Finally Honoring Pvt. George Fox's WWII Sacrifice
Michael Livingston works as a cultural heritage specialist at Aleutian Pribilof Islands Association, and serves as affiliate faculty at Alaska Pacific University and the University of Alaska Anchorage and principal investigator with the National Science Foundation. Mike has worked as a police officer and continues to serve with the State of Alaska's Cops-on-Call program, and is a captain with the Alaska State Defense Force. He was raised in Cold Bay on the Alaska Peninsula. His father, Sgt. Robert Livingston, served in WWII. His mother, Annabelle, served as a nurse's assistant at the Cordova Hospital in Prince William Sound. Mike graduated from Bristol Bay High School and holds two master's degrees in psychology and archaeology and a Ph.D. in education. Mike enjoys World War II history and honoring those who served and sacrificed.
