The Speaker's Forum is held each Sunday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Forum topics often address and spur dialogue about a current local community, statewide, national or international issue. Some forums feature a local author and the topic of the author's new book, or a representative of a local non-governmental organization (NGO) describing the organization’s work, programs, and accomplishments.

Jim Lottsfeldt is one of the preeminent political consultants in Alaska. After graduating from Willamette University, Jim worked as a legislative aide in the Alaska legislature. After one session, he switched gears and became a political consultant and campaign manager, and has since conducted over 75 political campaigns since that time. Former & current clients include US Sen. Lisa Murkowski, US Sen. Mark Begich, Gov. Bill Walker, Gov. Sarah Palin, Mayor Ethan Berkowitz, Alaskans Against the Tax Cap, and many legislative candidates, including state Senators Bill Wielechowski, Linda Menard, Johnny Ellis, and North Slope Borough Mayor Edward Itta.
