Dr. Harriet Kimbro-Hamilton, Daughter of Negro Leagues Star Henry Kimbro
Show Notes

Henry Kimbro had a sixteen-year career in the Negro Leagues with the Baltimore Elite Giants, Birmingham Black Barons, and in Harlem with the New York Black Yankees. Listen in as Dr. Harriet Kimbro-Hamilton tells his story through a perspective of love and respect that only a daughter can relate to others.

Discovering her father's scrapbook after he passed away, she was moved to write Daddy's Scrapbook: Henry Kimbro of the Negro Baseball League, A Daughter’s Perspective. That allowed her to frame his history with family and faith, expressing herself with admiration for him and her mother as the foundation that guided her journey through life.
