The BJ Show kicks off with all the AFLW opening round action
Intro Music Hello everyone, welcome to the first episode new season 2020 for April W Punish season. I will be sharing each week from the previews and the results of each week all round. Let's now drive into the opening round. Let's now get on to the show.
Speaker 0:With 12 rounds of AW, we start on the opening round with six games to share with you all. Let's now share with all the six games for the opening round. First round so, as we don't have a film in the game for this typical event, we are starting on Thursday Night Football. So this first and opening 14th of August. So the 14th of August, which is at Encom Park, cunningwood versus oh Cull versus Cunningwood. This game is mentioned at Encom Park Corningwood versus oh Cull versus Corningwood. This game, as I mentioned, at Encom Park, I'm unsure if each, all games are going to go, so I'm going to take a mostly a guess of idea in my opinion of during the 2025 April apprenticeship season. I will be going, I think it'll be. This game will be close and I'm going with Carlton to take the win. The next game we're heading to a doubleheader, as I should mention that for that. But we do have Thursday night football, which is this is held at Minster Researcher Park, which is held in Perth. West Coast are hosting these games at Tangong Gok. West Coast will take this game by 20 points. It's Friday night, only one game. We head to North Sydney Oval, sydney Swans versus Richmond Tigers, sydney Swans by 15 points. Saturday afternoon 40. Great to have that in the A4W opening round. And we are heading to GMHBA Stadium in Geelong. Geelong catch, so good. Melbourne. I'm sure who should win this game. I'm really going for Geelong for this game, but I am only and only I think North Melbourne are slightly a better team in the AW in my opinion, and that will who I'm going with by 21 points.
Speaker 0:Early in the afternoon of Sass Lake, and it's about the 5 o'clock schedule. We are heading to Wilton, canberra and it's about the 5 o'clock schedule. We are heading to Wilton, canberra. G Dallas Giants have got Essendon Bombers. I'm going for Essendon and it'll be a close game all day and I'll win by 9 points. Heading to Melbourne and we turn back to that. Go from Wissingham over where the Western Bulldogs train and play their A4W games. They tackle Melbourne Demons. This should be an interesting game to watch and ongoing, with Western Bulldogs to win the game and there will be the highest margin of 26 points. We'll also have the Men's AFL Round 23 contest of the LA Crosse Conor McPhy, so there's so much enough football to enjoy on Saturday night as well too. So we do head to Sunday football and we've got the.
Speaker 0:We head to Brisbane, queensland, brighton Homes Arena for Brisbane, brisbane vs Hawthorne. I know they're pretty good teams these two, but I'm going with Brisbane. It's in heart at home, but it's a ding wince we have Adelaide Crews. They are back and for this opening round they head to Melbourne and that's where we are. We're heading to RSA Park with St Kilda means do training. You know all their trainings, but the AFLW St Kilda hosts these games and they take on the Adelaide Crows, adelaide Crows and they close on a point now quite quick, that I'm not going to go through. My result we might into my previews, as I said in my intro. So while I'm each game, I'm going to actually share that with you all, if I have not put it down on my script. So we get to the final game, adelaide at Adamton Oil, where Port Adelaide versus Friantor. I'm going to put Adelaide by 11 points. So that's the opening round.

But we head to saturday football and we go to park conningwood and g dalia's giant. I'm going with conningwood, they're pretty good.
Speaker 0:At victoria park we go to melbourne, st kilda. I'll say melbourne gold coast versus sydney gold coast, brandantford and Brisbane, brisbane. I am going to go for Hawthorne versus Carlton. I'm going to say Carlton for that one. We head to Richmond versus Weston Bordeaux, richmond for that game. North Melbourne versus LA, north Melbourne, essendon versus West Coast I'm saying Essendon and LA and Geelong delayed Crow. So, knowing that these are really really we don't know what they're like, we could, this could be changed some point, but I hope that is all we have for today.
