Adelaide Crows vs Geelong Cats: A Fourth Quarter Masterclass
Adelaide Crows turned a slow start into a spectacular comeback victory against Geelong Cats in their first home game of the AFLW season at Unley Oval. What began as an 11-point deficit at half-time transformed into a dominant 39-point win thanks to a remarkable seven-goal final quarter display.
• Geelong started strongly, leading by 7 points at quarter time (2.2.14 to 1.1.7)
• Cats extended their advantage to 11 points by half-time (3.3.21 to 1.4.10)
• Adelaide fought back in the third quarter, reducing the margin to just 2 points
• Crows dominated the final term with seven unanswered goals
• Final score: Adelaide 10.5.65 defeated Geelong 3.8.26
• Chelsea Randall celebrated her 75th game with three goals

Speaker 1:Hey guys, welcome to live here at Unleavable for the round two of the LA Pro Sack on Jermon Cats and quarter time. It was a pretty slow start. I think they know they need to improve in a pretty good condition. It's not a cloud, but the sign has just gone, as he just heard over the background. It's a decent crowd and, yeah, 2-2, 14. Geelong Cats 1-1-7. That's a 10-point ball game to the favour of Geelong Cats. Geelong came out absolutely on top early and they got better over the use of the football, but LA responded very, very well. No, la got better well with the football. Speaker 1:Hello, welcome back to the young, welcome back to unglied oval between the LA crews and the Geelong bats. It is half time. So disappointed not getting a result of a goal that is 1-14, la 3-21, geelong Pats, 11 points to their lead. Geelong lead by 7 points at quarter time. Now 11 points, a full point advantage from that. So I think we've had some really good moments. I think we're just a bit you know, a bit lack of confidence. I think the third quarter will lift them and I know they'll do really well. I think they've didn't let Geelong to get many goals but they won the quarter. Two goals to nil in the second quarter. So I'm hoping to have a much better quarter in the third half coming into the second half. We'll see you at three quarter time.

That was a much better result from that as well. La haven't done a lot better as well, playing some great pressure for the third quarter can. La has done a lot better as well, playing some great pressure for the third quarter. Can LA come home with a strong result and get the win, or is Geelong not too good at the end? Speaker 1:This is not just a welcome back, it's a beauty. So Adelaide absolutely scored a 7-goal defeat at Geelong Cat, which shared the very moment of the overall game. But the game result 10-5, 65, defeat of 3-8, 26 in front of a packed ugly oval at Thomas Fund's oval for the close and Geelong Hacks. I think we're going to now the overall half of this game and really it was just incredible nervous staff football really felt like LA really bounced back from the loss against St Kilda. Well, Geelong totally bounced back against the not the plenty heads of north melbourne and give them so much respect and a loyal race and drumming a strong nation side. They're missing some stars and knowing that, though they do bounce back, they bounce back hard and really, really well. So I'll give you know geelong Cats full credit and best of luck for the rest of the 2021, 25th April Pony Ships season for the AFLW, from now to the finals. So another part of this game I really like is what Adelaide did in that not the third quarter, but the final quarter. I did not see this coming and they absolutely believe in each other, believe in their game plan and put the game to sleep and they have not seen that in a massive, long time. But kicking amazing. You know other game results.
