Round Two To Round Four A-League Wrap And Tips
Big wins, sharper reads, and fearless tips—this is your early-season A-League compass. We kick off with a rapid results tour: Newcastle blast five past Melbourne Victory at McDonald Jones Stadium, Melbourne City flatten Perth 4–0, Sydney FC edge the Mariners, Wellington outthink Brisbane at Sky Stadium, and Macarthur squeeze past Adelaide. It’s not just who won, but how they won—pressing shape, chance quality, and the kind of composure that travels week to week.
From there, we lean into Round 3 predictions for the men’s competition with match-by-match calls and the logic behind them. Brisbane host Melbourne City at Suncorp in a clash of pace versus control. Perth’s home edge faces a Melbourne Victory side desperate to steady. Auckland’s structure looks strong against Adelaide at Go Media Stadium. Newcastle and Sydney FC feels like a stalemate between swagger and discipline, while Macarthur and Western Sydney Wanderers promise a midfield slugfest where a set piece could decide it. Central Coast against Wellington tilts toward the Phoenix if they manage the Mariners’ width and second phases.
We then switch to the Women’s season kickoff with clear, confident tips. Sydney Wanderers over Perth Glory on tempo. Melbourne City to shade Sydney FC by controlling midfield spacing. Brisbane with the nod over Victory at home. Adelaide to outmanoeuvre Central Coast with cleaner patterns in the final third. Canberra United to ride their return energy past Newcastle, and Wellington Phoenix to continue their rise with smarter game-state management. Across both leagues, we keep the focus on repeatable actions: compact blocks, transitional punch, and the ability to finish the first big chance.
If you want fast, reasoned analysis that cuts through early-season noise, you’re in the right place. Tap follow, share this with a mate who loves an upset call, and drop your boldest prediction—who shocks the league this weekend?
Hello. Welcome back to a mother, a leg series, episode three. Let's get on with it. If you welcome, if you subscribe, if you like this kind of content, make sure you you like. And I would like to get like a hundred butt plus likes if possible. Anyway, let's get on with that. So we welcome to round two results. And then we're getting to round three, even possible round four, as I will not be able to share all this content to share with you all. But I'll do all and my very best to get round seven in before the round started. So let's just all hope all that I'm back and remind myself I have to do round four on my return. So welcome all. And wow, what what games we have? Two weeks already complete. And Friday night we have in Newcastle for McDonald's Jones Stadium, Newcastle, hosting Melbourne Victory. It's Newcastle, winning 5-2. Well dancing Newcastle Jess. Saturday football soccer for the A League. And we are here for three games. Now, before we continue, we will also do the Ninjas A-League Women's Competition Day. Start there, kickoff on the 31st of October. So I will be 100% sharing my petitions and who should win in round one as well in this episode. Here we go. We got Auckland versus Well City Warriors and well done to Auckland winning 1-0 at Go Media Stadium in Auckland. We go to the Net 14. Melbourne City. Take on Perth Louis City. Melbourne City taking the win. Ooh, that I like a mention. 4-0. Then we finish off a Saturday evening for Football A League. We are at Linton Harded Oval in Sydney. Sydney FC take on Central Coast Merida. Sydney FC taking the win. One game on the Sunday where we had Willington Phoenix take on Brisbane Roar. 2-1 in favour to Wellington Phoenix. This was played at Sky Stadium. We finish off at Monday evening football at Camerontown Sport Stadium in well the McFarlane. Yep, that's it. McFarman Bulls take on the LA United. And it was all making it 2-1 in favourite McFarman. Well done to that. So we go into round three. I zoo you to A-League men's. Then we go to the women's competition like I'm doing right here. Same thing, rostered. So Brisbane Roar and Melbourne City takes on Friday night at Sun Coctavium. And I'm going to be safe and gonna really make it the Melbourne City to take the win. Perth Lloyd and Melbourne victory. That both Friday night bot bosses. What class of football do we have for you? And I'm going to say Perth Louis to take the winner home very hard. Auckland versus LA United. I would love to see an A United victory, but I think Auckland just have a bit more talent. I'm going for the upside, I'm going for the home team, going for the safe team. Auckland for me. Newcastle Jets versus Sydney FC. Both teams started pretty strongly, especially Newcastle Jets. Which come to the other team that is Sydney FC. Look, they won 2-0 and a defeat. So I think it's going to be like a draw. I'm going to keep us at as a draw. Pretty hard to tip. When Farming versus Sydney Warriors, I think this is also going to be a draw. Don't know what the score I not really care about the score, but I think it's going to be very close. And that. So we go to Central Coast, Wellington, Phoenix. And I reckon I'm going to say with Wellington take the win. Here we go. That's it. We now change over the season for the and this is all in one episode, all in one series. So we're not changing split episode to episode. So we go to round one. This is it. The first game for the season we have is Sydney Wallers versus Perfe Glory. Their first game for the season. And I'm just gonna say Sydney Wars for that one. Sydney FC versus Melbourne City. I'm going to say with the Melbourne City for that one. Brisbane Raw versus Melbourne Victory. Brisbane to me. Central Coast melded Allah United. Allah should come out on top. And we have a new team in the competition. We'll share. But there is a team called Canberra United, which is in the Ninja A League women's competition. And we do have an old team as well with having we'll share that very moment. But Canberra United take on Newcastle Jet Campbell with the win and Rollington Phoenix is the there you go. So there's not much else to share, but that that's it. So well done to all. And if you like this today, was including the both A League competitions. So hope you like that. Like I said, 100 likes, really pretty, even 50, just to make it a bit safer as well. Hit that novel annotation bell so you don't miss this kind of episode like the basketball, national basketball. Both the men's and the women's, they're both separate. But we'll try and join them into one comp uh in the future of that. So that's all that coming up. Stay tuned. There's some very big bonus four episodes. Stay tuned to some massive, massive shows in the next couple of days. So stay tuned all daily here on the BJ show. Do all my best and share this to you. So thank you so much for your support.
