Aiden’s Round 9 Tips
SPEAKER_00Hello again, everybody, and welcome to another episode of the Footy Show. My name is Aiden. I well, I wasn't here last week. Unfortunately, I was really busy last week. So I skipped Miss Dans like that, unfortunately. I was looking forward to doing that, but just didn't have the time. But we're gonna get straight into round eight this week. And at the very very start of round eight, we had a great game on the Thursday night, Collingwood versus Hawthorne, and this was the draw. Final scores 15-3-93, 13-15-93. So two, I guess what you call mixed methods to get to that to that 93. Collingwood 18 shots on on goal, 18 scores for Collingwood, the 15-3 for the Pyres, and then the 13-15 on 28 scores for Hawthorne. So Hawthorne realistically probably should have won this game based on scoring chances and scores registered. Now, footy is a great game because it doesn't work like that. You have to be hitting the big sticks. Collingwood for their 18 opportunities were running at 5-6. 5-6, I can't do the math, but it's it's a big number. Hawthorne, negative scoring differential, so 13-15 is a negative scoring differential, so more points than goals. And that's that's really what keeps them in the game here. Collingwood probably, on the way the game was played, should have won this game, but on the score should have been Hawthorne. We end up as a draw. I honestly don't think that's fair on the pies. They were the better team all night. And you know, I feel like were they rubbed? Probably not. Hawthorne did have a great last quarter, but did they have opportunities to kill this game off? Absolutely now. This game came down to the closing moments and that high tackle break. Darcy Moore on Dylan Moore and Hawthorne escape with the draw there. Now, we're already up to round, I believe this is, yeah, it's round eight. So teams are starting to figure out where they're at. Collingwood are a team who are probably a team on the edge of that top four, probably a five-six team at the moment. But you know, they hang around here, they play a really good game against Hawthorns who are gonna be a top four team should all things shake out the way the way that they do. And now this draw is either gonna help you or harm you because the draw, we know draws are very rare in the AFL and I'm gonna get one a year, maybe two a year. So if you need two more points to get a position, you've got it. If you're two positions or two points away from getting a position, the draw then costs you there. So this will be interesting to see where it shakes out. A lot of teams who have draws, you know, that does influence their positioning, especially draw between two two top end teams, two teams who are probably gonna be around the four, probably around the six at a minimum. It influences the table because everybody else now who gets into that top six is thinking at the end of the season, we're we need two, we need to find another win somewhere, or we're gonna jump over them by two points to send our spot where we want to be. So that's that's how this game, you know, influences the table on a on a larger scale. So while it is only three hours of football, I think this is gonna have ramifications throughout the throughout the season. Yeah, my flavor of the game here is from Hawthorne, Connor, McDonald, 28 touches, 15 kicks, 13 handballs, seven marks, one tackle, three goals, a lot of touches, a lot of forward half touches for him, which is what you want to see out of a forward. So stay stayed in his place and got the job doing. No, six footish. That's yeah, 185. He's only six footish, which is visual efficiency, 71%. Most of those scoring opportunities as well, three goals, you know, uncontested positions, eight uncontested, six positions, any one intercept position, so you know, kick accuracy was perfect. Mark, seven of them really good. All uncontested as well, that's even better. I mean, it's gain only 370, but again for a forward, that's not too bad. That's actually a great job. That's a performance that I think Hawthorne, you look at this, that's got they think will swing the game, and I think that's what they need as well. Is they're one of these teams that do sometimes find themselves out of place in the game, and these these players who can just tilt the balance just a little bit at a sum and then come together collectively to flip the table, is something that Hawthorne do really well. Now we're gonna move on to Friday night. First game on Friday is gonna be Western Bulldogs and Freeman. We're gonna get this one out the way quickly. So, Western Bulldogs 15-12-102, beaten by Fremantle 17-12-114. So two goals is the final margin there at Marvel between the dogs and the dockers, and fremantle, you know, we're we're probably in and out of this game for most of it. Down, down big at quarter time, four goal at quarter time, and then they come back to two goal at half time, and then the second half really swings for fremantle. Ten goals to six in the second half, is what sees the dockers over the line here. So, fremantle, are they that good? Are they as good as we think they are? They could be. This could be the year of flag mantle. This could be the year that the Dockers finally sail the premiership. Now, there's still a long way to go in the season, and Freeman are known for getting good positions and then putting them in the recycling or general waste. But as for the doggies as well, another style strong start to the year, they are hampered by injuries. Now, this would have been a great game for them to have, but unfortunately, they do lose out in that second half to Freeman, who came through very easily, very cleanly in that second half. So this is now a turning point for both of these teams. Fremantle have set themselves up well. They're second, a doggy starting to slide a little bit because of injuries. So this game starts to tilt the table. Doggies were looking very good when they had everyone available, but now that's starting to slip away from them. I think the doggies could end up in the wild card with how their injury situation is going. Fremantle probably should be top four or bust at this point with their list. Player of the game in this one, it's gonna be Josh Tracy for Fremantle. 95 AFL fantasy, three goals, 17 touches, 12 kicks, five handballs, eight marks, two tackles for the key forward for the Dockers as he puts on another impressive display for them as well. Fremantle, a lot of players with three goals. Sam Switkowski finds form again with three goals. Hayden Young, three goals for himself as well. So the Dockers getting in on the scoreboard in chunks, which is what you really need. And I've got a lot of great players who can go forward. They've got Tracy, Voss, Amos, Luke Jackson can go forward in damage. So forward-wise, they are in a very good position. And this is what you've got to see. Swakkowski's coming back to form. Hayden Young's getting some touches at goal. This team is gonna be dangerous come September because they are a team who share the load offensively. You know, one of the big three is gonna put on a stack, and someone else and someone else could join them as well. So that's that's how the the hepo goes at Fremill at the moment. But that is it for that game. Now we come to the biggest game on the calendar for South Australia. It is time for the showdown. Adelaide and Poor Adelaide on Friday night lights. And what a game this was, ladies and gentlemen. Adelaide 1110-76 defeated Port Adelaide 11-9-75 as the Crows take this one home by one singular point at the death, thanks to some work by Sam Berry in and around the contest in the closing seconds. A lot of crows players stepped up in this game, a lot of port players stepped up in this game. And this is what we see in the showdown is it's not a matter of who steps up, it's more a matter of who steps up and who steps up the most. And this time it was Sam Berry who stepped up the most when it was needed for Adelaide. Adelaide had a lot of good performers that day. As long as as soon as I lost Walker, it looked dangerous after a quarter time, but they came, they came back, they hung around. This is the thing about these showdowns. This is this is the biggest rivalry in footy. These two teams cannot stand each other. This is this is the one you want to have on your trophy case. This is this is the one you dream about. Is you know, you talk about rivalry, you talk about the the Sydney Derby, the Q-Clash, the Western Derby. Out of all of them, this is the one. This is the biggest of the big games outside of Victoria. And it was a thriller. Adelaide, one goal in that first quarter, three for the power, second quarter, two for the crows, one for the power, very, very even power up by a goal at halftime. Then the crows come back, five goal to three third quarter for the crows. And in the final quarter, three goal to four in favour of Port Adelaide. But the final touches on this one were put in by Adelaide with 16, 16 seconds. St. Barry with Braden Cook stole the show as well. So those were two names who stood out. St. Barry won the showdown medal. Brayden Cook scored the winning goal for Adelaide. Now, Port Adelaide, I think a team probably gonna be either just in or just on the edge of the wild card. They're showing that they can compete. Mr. Shot to beat Hawthorne a couple of weeks ago, beat Geelong, one point behind last year's reigning defending minor premiers in the Crows. Adelaide, this is a big setup win for them. They had a lot of eggs, as I said, a lot of eggs in the beat. Collingwood basket in round one. They got that done. Then they dropped a few games. Now they're starting to find some form again. Now they only have three losses left in their bag to beat last season's record. But with the new finals format, things change. So anywhere in the top four could be good enough. The Crows top two would be really good. And you know, it's something that I'm starting to think is five or six better than three and four? Because five and six, yes, it's a one-one and done if you lose, but you are at home. Three and four, you do get the double chance, but a lot of teams recently have been going out in straight sets. So that's you know something we'll see, especially with the wild card coming in. Another thing is do wildcard teams have a favour? Because we see teams, you know, no one beats the say no one beats the bye. We've seen teams come off a bye against the against the team we played the week before and lose. We've seen NBA play-in teams have great experiences in the playoffs. I'm talking about those Miami Heat runs where they came through the play in with Jimmy Butler and won out the Eastern Conference. So a lot to play for, a lot to see unfold during this season. Player of the game, as you can probably guess, Sam Berry for Adelaide, 156 AFL fantasy, 29 touches, 18 kicks, 11 handballs, three marks, 19 tackles. Yes, 19 tackles for Sam Berry. That is a number we will not see in a very, very, or should I say, very, very long time. Now we move to the Saturday of round eight. First game, we're really not going to spend a lot of time on Brisbane 20 to 11, 143, defeated Essington 11, 13, 79. This was just a golfing class between two teams. Essingon showed some form earlier, but but just went up for the task in this one. Brisbane, far, far better off in opposition. Green defending back-to-back premiers. This is what they do. This is what this is the gap in the AFL. Is the haves and the have-nots at the moment, the gap is 60 to 100 points, really. And it's it's in a way it's unfortunate because the the gap is so big that there's no middle. Even the teams in the middle, even you know, your 5'6 teams, your wildcard teams, they're gonna be 5'6 goal behind these genuine contenders, and that's that's a really bad unfortunate thing. So I'm gonna say it's a bad thing to have because when you watch the footy, you want a close game, but we just don't get it often enough. And games like this, you know, what can you do? It's you're out of class from the jump, and you're just trying to stay in the contest as much as you can. Now, Essington are a tough, tough team, they're a strong team, they're a team on the rise. If I can get a few more things right this year, maybe a couple more wins, I think they'll be okay. But Brisbane, as I said, they're just a better team, far and above the better team, and at the end of the day, that's all they needed to be. Player of the game. Player of the game here is going to go to Darcy Wilmot of Brisbane. 134 AFL fantasy, one goal, 32 touches, 24 kicks, eight handballs, 12 marks, and one tackle for him. We'll leave that one there. As I said, a bit of a mess across the ground at Marvel, and we'll move straight on to our next game. We come out to West Australia. We come to West Coast versus Richmond in a game of two of the lower teams from the last couple of years. This is the battle of the Cellar Dwellers. And surprise, surprise, West Coast in front of the 2006 Premiership team chunked it up and couldn't get the job done. They lose in front of the Legends 131088, Richmond 15, 999. The Tigers come out of Tiger Land and go on the road to take this one by 11 points. I don't know what to say. I mean, West Coast, this this is this is not a great, great performance at all from the jump. You know, you hate not just aside the fact that the the legends of the 2006 Premiership were in the building to celebrate it. At the 40 years of the club, it's it's an opportunity to put on a show in front of in front of your former players, in front of guys who have fled for the club. Now, I don't know what happened, but I was just sitting there watching this game waiting for the for the switch to flick, and it just never happened. You just swayed into Richmond's game all day, and that's just not good enough. At home, you got your legends there, celebrated premiership, and and this is what you come up with. This is the best you can come up with. That that that's concerning, not just from a football level, but from uh what it means to play for the jumper level. Now we talk about we I talk about it all the time, you know, what does it mean to play for the jumper? And then you see, you look up, you see Chris Jade, you see Andrew Emberley, you see Darren Glass, you see Ben Cousins, and then you go 13-10-88, that'll do us. Mmm. Interesting it is that one. As for the Tigers, this is what they needed. This is their first win of the year, and a well-played one, a well-deserved one. They, as I said, they brought West Coast into their game. West Coast didn't really do a lot to try to get away from playing Richmond's game, and that's that's what cost West Coast in the end. Richmond had a great plan. I know they have a lot of players injured at the moment, so this is a big win for Richmond. As I said at the end of last year, those young guys are really starting to show me something. So the more of them you get on the pocket at the same time, the better it's gonna be for Richmond. And when they all come back, it's gonna be tough decisions in the selection. But this is a club that I think is gonna be trending in the right d in the right direction very quickly. We'll get to my player of the game here, which is gonna be Noah Bolter from Richmond. Noah Bolter, three goals, 20 touches, 14 kicks, six handball, six amongst, two tackles, and twenty hit outs. He was out and about the best player on the park. Now, West Coast, we do have some triple doubles here. Jake Waterman. Sorry, not Jake Waterman, doesn't mean he doesn't get a triple double, but Elliot Yeo does get a triple double. Jake Waterman, I will mention for three goals, so that was a good performance from him as well. 19, 5, 4, 11, and 2 for him. Elliot Yo, one goal, 20, 10, 10, 1, and 11. So there were some great sparks of performances from West Coast, but it just wasn't enough. It weren't enough of those big performances that got them over the line against North Melbourne and against Port Adelaide. The loss to Sydney hurt West Coast. The loss to St Kilda buried West Coast, and now they have to rebuild again. Well done Tigers. We'll see you next week and we'll move on to the next game, which is Geelong versus North Melbourne at the Cattery. Saturday, Twilight Football, Cadinia Park. It's Geelong and North Melbourne. Geelong 21-9-135. Defeated North Melbourne 138-86. And this is a this was a very, very good effort from North Melbourne. I cannot criticize North Melbourne too much here. They were in the game a lot, all the way through the game, you know, like down by seven points at quarter time, down by a point at halftime, and then dead to the lead back end of the third quarter, and then just Geelong just flipped the switch from there and ran away with it, as Geelong go on to kick 16 goals in the second half. He kicked eight North Melbourne, so that's not something to be sneezed at either against a team like Geelong. So as I said, I can't be too mad at North Melbourne for this one. This was a great performance from them. Geelong, what can I say? The cats are just too damn sexy. Doing the business again, getting another win over a team that they should be beating and moving on, as always. And this is one of the things I've always credited Geelong with on this show, if you follow it along, is they're a very professional outfit. They show up, they don't get into too much rubbish, they go through the motions, they get their job done, they move on. Professional, punctual, on time, exactly as the Fat Controller wants out of Thomas the Tank Engine. In fact, if Geelong were in the island of Sodor, they may be the Fat Controller's famous favourite football team. Now, enough of that. I'm sorry. Yeah. Geelong, I I I can't say enough enough about Geelong. They're one of my team, one of my favourite teams to watch. Great way of playing footy, always doing the job, doing business the right way. And you know, you can't afford a team that does that. We'll go to my player of the game. And my player of the game is gonna be Max Holmes from Geelong. 107 AFL fantasy, two goals, 29 touches, 19 kicks, 10 handballs, 4 marks, and 2 tackles. And we'll leave it there and we'll move on. As we move to Marvel again for Saturday night football between Carlton and St. Kilda. The final score is here: Colton 915-69, yes, versus St Kilda 16-12-108. St. Kilda winning this one by 39 points. St Kilda have been on a roll recently. They've been a very, very dangerous outfit. The Saints could come marching into the wildcard if we're not careful. And it was another blue blunder for Colton up two goals at halftime, and then only two goals in the second half to Saints 9. I I I'd really I'm running out of things to say about what's happening at Colton. I'm I'm trying to find new ways to put it, but there's not much more I can say, really. This is a team who are in absolute disarray. Two goals, two goals eight is not good enough for a second half in the AFL. It's not good enough in the second half in any level of football. You know, this is a team who really are running running the same track over and over again. Build a good spot, follow away, let the other team break the game open, not seek to improve our position. We've only they've only won one game, and that was against Richmond, who missed the target, or Tom Lentry missed the target or what in round one. So I'm starting to get very worried for Carlton for St. Kilda, as I said, a very dangerous outfit, a very strong team, a team that I look at and go, the wild card could be in your favour, St. Kilda. You are playing exceptional. You know, this second half, you know, five goals in the first half, five-seven in the first half, and then nine-five in the second. That's that's an absolute, oh sorry, eleven five in the second. That's an absolute channel there for the Saints. And this is what they can do when things start going well for St Kilda. So we move on to another week of football for these teams. Carleton, again, staring at whiteboard, scratching their head. St. Kilda, a team on a roll right now. Player of the game has a lot to choose from across the board here, but I'm going to take Rowan Marshall from St Kilda. 124 AFL fantasy, three goals, 22 touches, 14 kicks, 8 handballs, 9 marks, 3 tackles, 10 hit outs for the big man from St. Kilda in this one. And the Saints go marching on to another victory again. Now we moved to Sunday, and it was a really interesting Sunday of football. Two games on the Sunday, 2.45 and 7 o'clock. We started 2.45 at the SCG, Sydney versus Melbourne. And this was a game where it looked like it was going to be an entertaining game, and it was from Siren to Siren, Sydney, winning this one. 19-17, 131 to Melbourne. 17-12-11. The Swans were the better team out of the first quarter, first quarter, very even. 5-2 to 5-4 in favour of Melbourne. And then after that, Sydney just stepped on the gas and drove away with it. Five in the second, three in the third, six in the last for the Swans. Melbourne made a show of it at the end of that final quarter, though, as well. You know, bringing it down to from six or seven goals down to the respectable margin that we finished at 17 points. So well done. Great game all around Sydney. They're a top team, they're a strong team, they're a great outfit. They're a team who could win a premiership. They could, as I said earlier, I think I said last week or the week before. Sydney are now my my favourites to go and win the flag this year. They are a very, very dangerous outfit. I don't see many Wheatons across the park. They have a little bit of injury worry at the moment, but if they get those back and don't lose too much more depth, they're going to be very, very dangerous. Melbourne, again, as I said, team very capable. They proved it here. Okay, it didn't go their way on this day, but you know, losing to a team who are looking like they're going to run over the league this season isn't so bad. It's not bad for Melbourne because, as I said, they're probably going to end up in the middle of the Wild Cup. I could see them sneaking into an eight or a nine quite easily, Melbourne. So this is the kind of performance I think puts the league on notice in a loss for Melbourne, just because you know we now look at the demons and we go, well, maybe they are. Maybe they are real. They only lost by three goals. Three goals. Isn't a lot. So the bounce of the footy going that way here and there could have impacted in other games. So Melbourne, very good performance from you. I'm very impressed with your application to football on this day. Sydney, great win. And it was all powered by one man, Malcolm Roses. 102 AFL fantasy, seven goals for Malcolm Roses the day. What a game, as I said, powered by Malcolm Roses' seven goals. Joel Amarty had four of his own. Luke McDonald had three. But those seven goals, still the player of the game for Malcolm Roses, seven goals, 14 touches, 11 kicks, three handballs, four marks, three tackles. Malcolm Roses, a well-deserved player of the game with third seven goal performance. Now the final game of round eight is the expansion cup on the Sunday night between Gold Coast and GWS. And this one, I've got no other word for it, but sloppy. Sloppy, not in weather, in kicking. Gold Coast 111783. GWS 815-63. This was a bad kicking, is isn't quite as bad a footy as we think. The ball transitions through the midfield by both teams was quite strong. Just could not find accuracy at either end for either side. Gold Coast though, probably the class above on the day, getting the 20-point win here. 1117-83 was their score. And Gold Coast, I don't know what to make of them. They have good players, they have great games, and then they just they can't convert often off in front of the big sticks. That's that's that's my worry for Gold Coast. Is these games start to become a pattern for Gold Coast over the season? They could maybe be pushed out of that top four and end up as a five or a six team just ahead of the wild card. Now, GWS, I don't think they're gonna be in play. I think they're gonna be a team hanging around the top edge of the bottom six. So sort of a 12 or 13 for GWS based on that result, they're still they're goal kicking at both both teams. The goal kicking is killing them. If both of these teams could improve their goal kicking, like GWS could be a wildcard opportunity, Gold Coast could be top four. So as I said, a lot of food ago, we're only a third of the way through the season, but these opportunities they come and go. And both teams let a lot go on Sunday night. There were plenty of chances to be had, not many found. Player of the game in this one, probably someone who didn't have as bad as a night of a night as we thought. So, you know, there's a lot of good players on on the field, and I think one one guy who really stood out to me was John Noble. Actually, I went to actually was in my class at school, John Noble's actually his house captain. John Noble, 144 AFL Fantasy, one goal, 35 touches, 30, 30 kicks, five handballs, 12 marks, one tackle for John Noble. Christian Patracker also had a good night. 117 AFL Fantasy, two goals, 29 touches, 19 kicks, 10 handballs, 4 and 4. Lockie Whitfield best for GWS, 113, 30, 21, 9, 5, and 4. And Brody Uland, 112, 26, 16, 10, 13, and 2 for a triple double for Brody Euland. So ladies and gentlemen, that is the wrap of round eight. Let's get into my tips for round nine. And we come to my tips for round nine. So Thursday night we have Fremantle and Hawthorne. Very close teams. These teams probably both are going to be in that top four. Probably could be top two if Sydney stumbles. Fremantle, I think, at home, just a better team here. I take Fremantle by nine points in this. Sorry, take Fremantle by nine points in this one. Brisbane and Carlton. I take Brisbane here. Much better side than the Blues are at the moment. Real real golfing class game I could see coming here. Carlton will put up a great effort, much like Essendon do, but Brisbane head and shoulders above them at the moment. Now we come to probably one of the closer games for the week, if not the closest, Port Adelaide and the doggies. Now Port Adelaide at home on the Friday night at Adelaide Oval should favour them a little bit, but I have gone with the experience of the Western Bulldogs. Even with the injuries, I think the performance I put up against Fremantle is good enough, but that tip may swing. So I've gone doggies for now, but I could swing that to Port Adelaide on Friday night once I see the team. Once I see the team. Next up is North Melbourne and Sydney. Now this one I've gone Sydney. Again, golfing class. Sydney far better than the rest of the competition by a field at the moment. So they kept the nod in this one. GWS and Essendon, this could be an interesting game. Could be close, probably around the four-goal margin, I think. And I'm taking GWS here. I think that if I do get their goal kicking assorted during the week, they they are the odds-on favourites to get this one. Although this is another swing game. You know, if we just credit Essendon's performance on the weekend, I think they are a much better team than we make them out to be. Gold Coast and St Kilda, Gold Coast. At home against St. Kilda. St. Kilda, a team who are tough to play. Gonna make it difficult, but Gold Coast are the team on form right now. Team on song right now, so I take Gold Coast here. Next one is Geelong and Collingwood. Now I've taken the cats again. This is another one I could swing late. I think Geelong just a little bit better form at the moment, a little bit cleaner. I think the cleanness of the cats is gonna get them over the line here in this one. Then we have Melbourne and West Coast. Melbourne looking like a shoe in wildcard to me. Beat West Coast, they'll they'll be edging that case a little further to an absolute loss. So West Coast's gonna put up a good effort here, I reckon, but Melbourne just too much class in them now that Gorn is back to form. And then finally, Richmond and Adelaide are taking the Crows. You know, Crows should be beating Richmond here. If the Crows aren't beating Richmond, what are we doing, Adelaide? What are we doing? Richmond, though, a young team could be stripped, could be picky early on. Adelaide have to take their opportunities early and close the game by halftime, otherwise, Richmond will hang around and make it rather interesting. So we've gone 3-0 by 9, Brisbane, Western Bulldogs, Sydney, GWS, Gold Coast, Geelong, Melbourne, and Adelaide on the tips for round nine. Alright, ladies and gentlemen, thank you very much for listening again. It's been a pleasure again. Aiden for the BJ Show signing off.

Well, halfway mark where's the season almost here. And boy, we're here for another weekend of footy. Well, I would like to also let you all know I do play for footy for the inclusive disability competition for Kenworth Cookabas Football Club. Where I actually played my first game, and this is my 70th football game. Fortunately, we went down to Kilban the 2025 Stand Fall I League. It's a ninth for inclusive league 20s. And we went down, unfortunately, we did our best, but I think we did some really good actions and that, and we will work on and we take on TG Gully. Will I will share my thoughts on that maybe at the end of the show? Just want to let you all know of that. I would love to share all that. So, Alan Dow, let's get straight into it with our first game of roundmates, the AFL. First and footy, we are here once again, and we have Collingwood and Hawthorne, the two riddles, go head-to-head at EMCG with a very reasonable crowd of about 76,000. Round about that, if I'm correct. And it was 76,632. And we ended up with a draw. Now, how this happened is Conniewood kicked out, could see was 15,393, and Hawthorne 131593. We want more goals and points at the MCG, at Marble, or even in Perth at Otta Stadium. Now, can I say right now, Connor would have replied in a better way? They got under pressure and they found those goals. Hawthorne had to work for the goals and they found a way to get back in the game. Now, how it all happened that Collingwood kid seven goals to five. It was basically it was that close of a five-point ball game. Hawthorne, on the other hand, kid accuracy, 6.1.37 points, and they made it up to 11 goals, 1177. For Collingwood, Van Ways, they hit five goals straight. Totally, that was a 17 goals, one for the quarter. Now you don't see that at the MCG very often, but and three goals straight. I'm gonna give that fact in just a moment. That's incredible at the MCG. But Hawthorne keeps missing points, and that's what happened. Two goals four in the last quarter of the free straight. So it was a very even Steven quarter, but my goodness, Danny. Hawthorne needs to work on their goal kicking. And I know that can bounce back from that drawer. Overall, and from that second half, from seven goals free 45 to 15 goals 393. Paul Conningwood kicked eight goals straight. That's 48 points in the second half. More than the, well, the first half, 45. They won by three points that quarter. Well, we come to the hawk. Hawthorne kicked eight goals by 53. They won the second half by game to a drawer. Now I don't know what happened with that, and that happens. 10 stacks for this, and we'll move on to the top five best players, and I'll choose one best player. Disposable rate, Hawthorne had more than 40. You know, overall, you know, hit out Hawthorne won that. You know, let's just say marking was pretty even. 100 plus marks in a game. That's 209 marks overall. That's pretty good effort. And where's to say tackles pretty even favourites? Hollywood. So unfortunately, yeah, so yeah. So I don't know what can happen, but overall the stacks are pretty even. We come to the best players. So on my screen, I do have my top five players from Collingwood and Hawthorne. I'm gonna play for one each best player. So we had Nick Dacos, Dan Kuuston, Brian Munlad, Isaac Crew, Noel, and Nick Long. They are from Collingwood. Connor, MacDonald, Carl Amon, Jay Newcombe, Joss Warren, and Cam McKenzie. Now, I'm gonna start with the Hawthorne Hawk. The Hawthorn Hawk, best player. I think domination was pretty well. Kick straight, and that is go to for the Hawthorns, where's the same midfield? No, he's a forward. Connor McDonald. Include 28 disposal, seven mark, one goal, three goals, no behinds, 114 A for fancy. It also includes a free 17 meters game, eight and about attendance with four clearances. Well done to Connor McDonald. Now we come to the Conorwood Football Club. They cannot go past this man. He dominated from everywhere. And I'm gonna have to cannot go past this with his 34 disposs, the most disposals on the field. It's Nick Dacos. 34 disposals, all marked by tackles, 124A for fancy with the one goal. Very well done there. Where sits score involvement. It's 44 meters gain, 27 centre bounce attenders for Pleontus. Well done to Nick Dacos from the Connor Matt Price and to the Connor MacDonald from the off on forward. There you go. Let's get to the Friday night football. What are actual classic games we have for you? Alright, let's go down there. Friday night doubleheader. We're going to marble stadium first. Where's the Western Bulldogs and the Westers' Dockers? And then we got Showdown 59. This could be in the upset. The most breaking crowd of all time. Let's now get to our Friday night in Melbourne at Marble Stadium between the Western Bulldogs and the Friendsville Dockers. Alright, well, with the State Loose Crowd 23,071 at Marble Stadium on the low crowd on Friday night, buddy. Now, this is why I call better performance. The Western Bulldogs are back. The high scoring, fantastic. Over Friental. Final score. Western Bulldog 15-12, 102. And Free Antul, 17-12, 114. Exactly two goals, 12 point victories to Friantal. What can we see is happening early parts of the season, his highest scoring? We have seen it. We have not seen this in such a long time. Cantines is start out and blow. But Western Bulllock's much better than Sydney. That was one week later. No, you don't have that. You do not have any without doubt of having Sean Darcy in your forward line. Where's that mate? Be back before you know it. It makes a big difference. Aaron Norman had to work harder to find ways to get goals to get the Western Bulllocks in the game. And Western Bulllocks seem to be not out of the contest. Friend tool. Big blow wins. Big, big road quick. If you go to, well, okay, you go to Perth to Melbourne. That's not the point. It is over a three-hour trip flight to Melbourne. And knowing that, Western Bulls are not in not just missing their keyboard, but not in over any great form at the moment. And it's showing that early parts of the season, over the first four or five rounds, they're the real deal. And then since Sean Darcy just did something's missing. That's what's the problem when when you find ways. I'm gonna now go and break down each quarter. So, great start to the Western Bulldogs. Six goals two. Reminds me of this. Not against any other team, but Carlton. Carlton feels like they start well and they drop. Free and tall ends the bat was five goals, which makes it a 14-point lead to the Western Bulldogs. The Dan's the bat, second half, five goals again to Free and Twilight. To Western Bulldogs, two goals. That changed the momentum. And this is what happened to the second, third, and first, ninth grade, second and third now. And final quarter, three and took five goals. For the dogs, nice great, but better call in the fourth quarter. They did came back hard. You damn right five goals and you lost for three and two goals. Very good effort. Now, this is what I mean. Well done to Friental. This is a big victory. Enjoy it. Best of luck for next week. Head up, Western Bulldogs. Good luck next week. But well effort on against Free Huntel in a very improvement way. We now come to our best players. Our top five from both respective football clubs. The first up, I'm going to be giving it to Weston Bull Top 5. It's Monka Bonkin Pellete, the captain, Bayel Dale, Mashi Kennedy, Ed Richards, and Riley Senders. So those stack from the bond included 106 A for fans, 32 goals, 33 disposals, full marks, two tackles. He also included 9 screen bombardments, two for assists. Very well good with 630 meters game, 29 center bounce attenders, and six clearances. Well done. Next up Fale Dale. Dominate 32 disposals, seven marks, five tackles, 129 A for fancy. He also included, this will be the only time because I'm only playing supposed to share one of the sacks. So he had two goal assists and seventh score involvement, a 529 each game and two clearances. Now for the next two, we had Mashie Kalendy and it's Richard and Riley Sanders. For three and tools, best player. And I'm gonna pick the top five and then I'll pick a player. So Shane Bolton include beautiful D there. Andrew Braddraw absolute domination there. Luke Jackson is a mother, massive, massive, impressive saying that. So they have been pretty good. Amos, he didn't do great. So I'll include my fourth. And I'm going to include one and truly for my final player, which is really tough for Aiden Young. That's it. So I'm gonna go past. Can't go past Luke Jackson with the one goal, 129-8 for fantasy. He had 18 disposals, three marks, eight tackles, 36 hit out. He also included 13 score involvement up in no goal assists, but 95 means this game, 27 bounce and 10, and reclaims. That is Luke Jackson. And well done on your game performance. As well, let's just say the bunt. The bunt is my player game. If I said that, if not, well, yeah. Alright, off to the second Friday night footy in Adelaide, where we had a oh my goodness, what a game this was. Alright, we got the claws and the power coming up now. Well, well done to the bond and Luke Jackson from Friday Night Footy over in Melbourne at Marble Stadium with all that low, 23,000 fans, but we had a lot more. We had 50,000, 53,000, 45, Shodan 59, the Close and the Power go head to head. Now I am not a big fan of Double Friday, and that continues to do that. Now I'm gonna say right now, even the crowd was my, I think, fantastic, but they need to really realize that you have four official few umpires and four boundaries. Decision making is so important of this game. I'm gonna say it, the worst showdown game I've seen since I've been alive. Bull boy calls not being made from both respectable teams. Yes, we all miss stuff. I wear basketball. I miss a lot of things, and I'm being absolutely honest with that. I'm not saying too much on my end and the AFL end. But when you have a decision that it's not that great, you have 53,000 screaming on making the worst call for both respectful Adelaide and Port Adelaide. Well aren't in the stand for Port Alain, Matt Ryan's in the stand for showdown. This is the AFL. Very different. But then we Adelaide must win. They must win this game. And I'm gonna, before we get into that, I've got to say right now. Port Adelaide came out on top of this showdown and boy boy, and it changes completely. Adelaide's turn to show up. They came out on not just the second quarter, it's more the third quarter. That quarter, the friendship quarter, as old score for four Ozzy Rules. But this is the makes a big difference. Adelaide up by three goals and above, three and a half goals, four goals. Toby Mui, Nick Mowie's brother. They're this massive fella. He's kicked not just one goal at the Adelaide Oval, but two goals. Nick Murray did not play, he was strong. Must be reasoned. Must be a bit of a soreness coming through to happen. We didn't have a captain out there, Alex New Bullen. Dominant's been acting captain, and he's done it well. So keep it well, Alex New Bullen. You're a star. You're great to be maybe the next captain for the LA Clothes, in my opinion. But I think he's done so well to keep ourselves in the game a lot more. LARSLO started, but we came out on top. Really on top. No, we don't haven't seen Riley Field for in the best of form, but that happens in a game of football. And due for his back and general body health, I think he's in great shape. He's just not getting to that football. You know, he's not in overly great. But I know that he can recover. We all know that. Same with Powder Walker, the Tex. Oh, not the showdown, mate. It happens. You know, rest up, mate. You rest up. You you come out firing after the bite if you need those weeks off. Your coaching was fantastic. You may not want to coach, but how about the head coach on Manny Knicks? You did so well. Now, continue on this game. I was shocked. You see, with 34 and the beat seconds, 34 seconds if I can record. Put LA by five points. No, I'm gonna look. I I just could not look. When he kicked that, when put LA and whoever was kicked that foot, the game's over. But I had to realize 34 seconds in an overall game is a lot of seconds in a game of football. Games momentum change. Well, 22 seconds. We found the way to get the football into the half of the forward half of the LA Crows in the South direction. Now, whoever watched this on TV or went the game, you know what I mean. The star recruit recruits time of waiting court can play A4 level. He is a star of the future. He's a hard working, he can kick goals. And boy, he did it in the biggest moment of his career. That changes momentum from not just Adelaide Crows or Port Adelaide. 12 seconds on the clock. I found it. That I To not look for a moment. And what happened? Adelaide came out and won by the all-time one point. Maybe one maybe the all-time catchest games in the AFL. One of the best games I can see. Not both teams kick points. They kicked exactly 11 goals, but one point went to the LA Close. That is how much the difference it was. And boy, it was most entire. I was shocked. I was speechless. I could not even What the heck? Like what and what happened? That's as keep as that. Port Adelaide on their hand. You know that you're in the game. You've shown what you can do under Joss Carr. His first game as head coach. And unfortunately, not the nut. But keep doing what you've been doing, mate, because you have shown that you can bring as being head coach, you're the right for the job for the future for Port Adelaide since Kent Henley basically depart. And know that you got the team you wanted to play for the 2026 season. You've shown that you can beat the best team, Jelon by 30 points. Adelaide Oval and Zach Knight with 40,000 packed the Allied Oval. The show that you can do that, that's a pass for me. Came against the Crows, almost won it. So that can come. But I'm now going to share the stat for this game. And then very, very straight into my top five. Oh boy, I guess that was put LA then draw into the LA. Then my bears won one change in that. So the hit out. Put Lai dominating that hit out. That means put LA won the footy a lot more. Next part of the stats, I'm going to say disposable weight favored the pull out lane. Next part. The free kicks were even. 41 overall. But 21 to 20 favorite pull out lane. I'm not saying three kicks, they were even, but there was a lot more shipping callback. Moving on from that point. Marking. Allied are the worst marking in overmost turn. 78. And look at what LA scored. 76 points. Marking for put Alain. 103. 103. That got them 40 a lot more. They are not better. And that one. Good job on that. But this is the most important part. Tackles. Allied proven. They have absolute changed the game of their style. They won the worst tackles in the AFL. 81 tackles to 69. 12 tackle pluck. We are not afraid. Beautiful. That's just every team is different. We tag on Hall for in a few weeks. Tag on Richmond next week. Could they lay back at home against the Western Burloc? Or it's hope. What they're can get a win. Because I trust them and back them to win. With Western Bullock's not in great form, you never know what can happen. Western Bullock won here against the Crows. Could they do it again without Sean Darcy? We'll find out that soon. Now, getting on to the play of the game. I can't go past. I may stay tuned for the Crows' top best players. I'm gonna now share put out laid. We have Oli Wine, Zach Butters, Jordan Sweet, William Drew, and Leah Leah. But put Adelaide best on ground. You can't go past this man. Dominated. He may not hit a tackle. We had 21 sponsors, 14 marks, 9 for fancity. He also included score involvement. So he moved up a little bit that point. 428 meters game. Aliyale, well done on your best on ground. Now I'm going to be changing one team member. This is the player that's shown what he can do. And oh my goodness, a clutch, a cut time. Brain and Cook. Well done. Here in Kulu, we have Sam Belly, Raymond Miller, Toby Murray, and Alex Zum Bullen. Now, Ben Key's this miss out. He was my original man. I have Brain Cook. You play bam well, Ben Key. But it's so hard. So hard to have Brain Cook as my player of the game. And Sam Barry. You can't have both. I would like to have Toby Murray. It's better than Granny of the Law. But he dominated. Dominated. But maybe the first time in history. 19 tackles. Three marks. 29 disposals. But we had 150 to Dave of Vancity. How many? He won through school involvement. Press the act was in the yellows. You know on the avenue start the player, there's like a time. 35%. That's pressure act. 204 meters game, but yeah, 20. About 10. 1900. 92, 23, time on ground. 104, 24 minutes. That's almost, let's just say, a 70-75% on the ground. Yeah, time to come off. Well done to Sam Belly and Alielia for our background grounds. And once again, well done to the Bont from the captain from the Western Buddha as well, Rick Jackson. Friantal Dockers. It's time to super four games off their footy. Let's go now to that on there. Alright, we got four games of football. We'd just drive into it. Well done to the Miighty. West has go back to a draw. Good effort from the Mighty Conningwood Map Clients and the Hawthorne Hawks. Well done to Friantle Dockers over the Western Worldlooks at the Marble Stadium. Showdown 59 with the LA Crews one-point victory. Now we're back at Marble Stadium with the 31,595 at that for this game. It is Essentian and Brisbane go head to head. It's their first one. Final score them 1379 to beat the 22-11-143. They reigning 20th. Take a 64-point victory in Melbourne at Marble Stadium. The new drafty was in pick 43, the 2025 Dan Curden, the star of the LA Crows' younger brother, playing for the Brisbane Lions, Cored Curden. Congratulations on your first game for the Brisbane Lions over the SNM Bombers. May not hit a goal, but boy, how great this is. Brisbane Munin, victory, and back in Melbourne again. They are back Brisbane. They got among the best teams in the AFL as we speak. They didn't have a great start of the first seven rounds. Lost the Golf, I'm going to say Gold Coast, but they lost the Melbourne, I believe. There's a few teams that they took on the Rain Plentiers. I won't say teams, I just presume I'm guessing those are the teams. But when Brisbane takes on Sydney, oh boy, that's gonna be quite interesting. Unsure where isn't it? I'm just gonna show you right now. They are not giving it all. They need to give it to the fans. The fans are leaving because of the situation, they're not performing. What's going on? That's all I can say. What's going on? But they need to show that they did come back, but it wasn't enough. Brisbane had a strong win on the victory on the road to Melbourne. They're back. The performance back, and hopefully they continue as that. First quarter, Brisbane six goals, Essendon is the one goal. You'll find out is that the same or similar? Four goals in Brisbane, Essendon, three goals in the second. Brisbane, seven goals to Brill Essendon, one goal. There you have it. Same like in the first quarter, but Brisbane hitting right one goal. Game over at three-quarter time. Essendon, five back, gave it all. Not enough. It was four goals in the last quarter to five goals to Brisbane. This is what I'm saying. Absolute what I'm saying from an Essinon point of view. You don't alright start the season, but have you gone off? You've gone offline. You take on the best team, you stay in the contests. But I just don't know where they are, Essendon. I'm really I'm very unsure. I am going to share their top five for Essen and Brisbane. But first, I'm going to share the stats. Very, very. So, right now, I am going to share with the oh well, what should I share first up with the team stack? So, dispersal. Favorite Brisbane. 400 plus 350. Pretty good effort for Essentian net. Quick kicks! Well, they'll favor the Edson, but they displaced them. Head out! Brisbane! Wow, wow, wow! Don't know what's happened there, but Edson won the football, but it wasn't enough as the centre clearance went totally to the Brisbane Lions. 14 to 21 favour to the Brisbane Lions. The next stat I like showing is the Marks. Brisbane Lions 160 to 78, the same mark that the Adelaide Crows did against Port Adelaide. But unfortunately, he was 60 plus more favored of Brisbane over Port LA marks. So you can give that stack. They didn't get 40 marks a game. They got almost 80. That's a gift. The next one I would like to share. It's tackles. Well, Brisbane are not the best tackling team, but oh boy. 81 tackles to 48 to 40. And that's the LA Crows. That's an effort. Not even 50 tackles for the game. 50 tackles, not even that. You gotta tackle. You want to tackle, you're more opportunity to win the game. Fresh points. I'm gonna start with Essendon. Nat Candy, Peter Wright, Zach Mann, Sam Durham, and Dana Sun. Richmond's best. We have Dusty Wilmot. Dang the cole, Will Ascroft, Zach Bailey, to McClinky. Now, starting with Essendon's best, it's pretty not overly easy to not share two or three or five or six. But domination, you gotta really dominate. And you can't, yes, okay. Goals are really important to win games. Now, I'm gonna give the knack candy. Now, no, why? I'm getting three goals and five points. There's a lot more goals than that. But that's what he got. Include 101 eighth of fancy, 3.5, 14 mark, 9 mark, 2 tackles. Pretty inclusive. They include nine score and golf was that goal assist.
SPEAKER_02So that's a pretty good effort.
BJ On Sydney Melbourne Then Suns
SPEAKER_01107 minutes and a half. Out of 123 minutes, that is about 80% and a bit. And about 461 meters game. Well done. Brisbane, well, there's a pretty hard to choose when you win. Very big win. A massive win to go over and over and over. But you can't go past Willascroft. I cannot go past him. Very well average of nine marks, five tackles, 121 Able fantasy, 28 disposals. We have also included five score involvements with the goal assist. We include 101 minutes 56, 338 minutes game. Made at one clearness is a big moment. But we think about attendance. Well done. Two. With our Willow Scroft from the Brisbane Lions, Nat Penny. For me, as in the bombers. Heading over to Perfect Octo Staman. Let's go to West Coast and Richmond. How amazing that was. This could be an interesting game to share. Alright, let's go there now right now. Right now. It's not just interesting games that James Gang all exploded at the moment of the 2026 April Prentice season. And teams that dominate amaze me. We have West Coast Eagles hosting Richmond Tigers. The both bottom sides are incredible. Well, one team is better than the other. When you get done big, come back to Perth in front of your West Coast supporters. Your West Coast supporters, you need to win. You had 46,350 as well, homie Richmond supporters there. But you had at least 46,000, 45,000, even that. And wow, this changed in so many ways. This pitched in so many ways. And I've got to stay in so many ways. I think this one is an interesting game. Which were not just yet winner game. Two went to Perth. And I've just stay in front of 46,000 plus. Friend and 15 part of that. I tip West Coast, that's it. And my fourth, we're on West Coast at the moment. They start this season strong. They even went to Adelaide. Adelaide over the beat, put Adelaide at two points. Put Adelaide one. And now they just got dropped. They've gone down. And I'm shocked. In front of your supporters West Coast, you know it's important to perform. Richmond had plans to win the game in Perth at Otto Stadium in front of the West Coast supporters. And they got the job done. They had the plan. Well done to Richmond was the win. West Coast, 131088, 15,999. 11 points. One point, 100 points. You win by one point even Perth, that's a bonus. But when you win by 11 points, it's an extra bonus. 10 plus 1 is 11. This is what this is what teams can play. And Richmond did it in style. Wow. Richmond hit eight goals to West Coast six goal in the first half. Overall, West Coast was seven goals as well, West Richmond. This is what changes the game. Alright. That's my stat. I'm going to show that right now. Very nice and smooth, and then we'll drive into my top five of an eating West Coast in Richmond. Right. Disposals. Very well even. That's pretty good area. 354 West Coast of 348 Richmond. Three kicks out of control. I'm not going to go into that. Hit out. Very well even. But not in 40 hit out. Richmond won more of the hit out. Very balanced in the clearances. It was one clearances to overall in front of West Coast. And they lost by 11 points. Now, points on the score doesn't mean, but you've got to win the footy and win it. Next part of what I'm going to share. Marking. Maybe not hit 200 marks overall, but 95 to 90. They are the well-balanced marking team. And they work. Tackles. Another thing that Richmond gave him credit. They're getting better and better with their tackle pressure. But West Coast got better of the tackle pressure. Well, I can tell you right now, West Co D came back. They were going to respond from last week, and they've proven that. They'll take some lessons from that land point defeat, and Warbridge will have confidence with that land point defeat. They're going to go to the MCG and tackle the LA Crows that they did against West Coast. They will find a way to be smart. And they know how good, well, unusual how Adelaide crows are. Right now, we are going to now share my top five West Coast Eagles and get into their best player. And I'm going to be more for Richmond as well. West Coast's best five are Jack Willerman, Ellen Yo, Tim Kelly, Harley Reed, and Bailey Williams. Pretty hard to choose players. My best player from the West Coast Eagles is a pretty domination. Now I don't see him that much often. But this man can guess it pressure the ball while they won the stat. It's Ellen Yo. 11 tackles, one mark, one goal, 20 disposals, 104 able fancy. And it's cutting include 10 screen bowlers with one goal, assisting all 449 meters gain, 80 meters, 24 on the ground, 24 center bounce attenders and 1700s. This is why an experienced player like Alan Yo be my West Coast best player. Coming to the winners, to the Richmond Tigers, they have dominated and shown what they can do. But it is going to be Jack Ross. Domination, full marks, five tackles, 998 propensity, included 290 whistles. He included how many time or minutes? 108.17 out of 125. That is almost up there. He pressured out perfectly. He included 78 meters gain, 26 center bounds, and 10s. And then we're clear on this. This man can definitely be a very good midfielder. Who's going to tackle him? We'll find out very next week on Mother State MCG. What a game that will be. But well done to West Coast Eagles. With the win. Next game. Oh boy, it's gonna be quite interesting. We're going down to GMHBA Stadium, the Kineedia Park, Geelong Cats. Could they make their 15th straight win over North Melbourne? Let's find out right now. We're heading to down to Geelong. Between the Cats and the Blues, right now. We're now done being in perfect. We're now travelling down to the GM HBA Stadium. No more Kennedy Park, the original name for Geelong in Geelong. Geelong Cats hosting North Melbourne. Now this could be a very interesting game. Before we get into the major, I'm going to get into those stacks. I'm doing something a little bit different here. To get them out of the way, well, I'd gotta stay. Geelond in his 500 disposals. North Melbourne, well done. Now, 371, 367, 367 Wyoming. The next part of the stat is hit out. 40 to 28. But this has changed. North Melbourne, poor boy, that midfield is very good. And I'm getting them so much credit. The next stack I'd like to share is Mark King. 81 to 68. That's bringing about the average around 18. And the most important part is tackling. You tackle on a team playing in the grand final and then get two plus and tackles over all. That is a winner in my books. We've never done that. Geelong are done it. That's 15th straight. Did they do it? They did it. And they're doing it in the history. Not an easy road trip to go down to Geelong and just win. You're gonna get a really decent 32,485 pack down at GMHBA Stadium, Kevin Park, and get a big win. Not 64 points. Not like that. That's about the average win. 29. 219. 135 Geelong, North Melbourne. 3886. 13 goals to 21. 49 points. Better. Not great. You can score 13 goals. Not eight, eight goals to 21. You would stay in the contest. This is why you're winning the footy a lot more, North Melbourne. This is why there's you pressure the ball a lot more. And that's why it's not easy. It was a good high scoring. Yes, 135 to 86. It could be 68 to 138. 135. That is why I'm saying that North Melbourne has changed in so many of their football styles. You've got to bring your very best. And I tell you right now, North Melbourne are fine. Very difficult to do it. But one day, the broken will release. Getting into done stack, we've done my four, we've done the final score. Let's get to the pop five from Delong in North Melbourne. Starting with North Melbourne. Now, on my screen here. Now hell, before you do that, if you are new, welcome aboard. Now, where we are doing, we had the BJ Show footage show. Welcome aboard, you're new. If you can follow on Spotify, that'll be great wherever you get your podcasts. As well, if you can give this a like on YouTube, that'll be awesome. And hopefully you can subscribe. There's so much videos. Well, so many episodes to come, as were videos from videos coming with the football latest episode. So I'm gonna give my North Melbourne players and I'm gonna give that player a really good effort. But it's Tristian X and Harry Sicily, Luke Davis Unicane, Toby Matt Kerr, and Paul Curtis. North Melbourne's best on ground is not just a player can dominate. It struggled to be a big ruckman. And that's Tristian X Arm. If I got that in correctly apologized, he's only 30 disposals, one mark for seven tackles, not able to get that one goal where he grew 131A for fancy, 23 hit out, as well, including that actual involvement for goal assist over that one. 103 minutes, 30 cent about attenders, and 14 clowns. He won the vlog of the foot himself. Why they won the hit us? He's one of the best hit outs, ruckmen in the AFL in a lot of different ways. Well done to the Ruckman from Geelong, North Melbourne, North Melbourne. But coming to the next team is Richard Geelong. Geelong Katz or Mattwell, Holmes, Hannah, Bern Hahn, Jeremy Cameron, Sherno, and Tom Atkins. But you can't go past. A player can dominate, a player can perform, but a player can do it all in so many ways. That is Hannah. Bern Hahn is my gel on best on ground. 22 disposals, no goals. That's okay. He's a defender. He dominated with smart seven packs, 101A for fancy. Included for school involvement. He really got that 302 meters game, 8834 on the ground. He pressed it well for that. That is a really good effort. Well done to Annabon Hun. From North Melbourne. Alright, we are almost done and we're almost complete. Super Saturday. We've returned back again at Marble Stadium between Calton and St. Kilda. Let's go now on for Saturday night football. All right, now we're being into July, and we're now returned back to Melbourne at Marble Stadium for the final game, and only one Saturday night footy is back. And for the fourth time at Marble Stadium. Now, I am not a fan of having one game on a really on a Saturday night. Love double Saturday night, but I am not a fan of Friday night, you know, at the end of the week. And you guys go to the football. Saturday is a bit more karma, but you don't have to, you know, it's the weekends a bit more common than football. That's just me. Anyway, getting to it. St. Kill Colton. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, the last super football this has to be. Bad kicking once again with 41,062. He made a good crown, a very good crowd at marble. This is the kind of thing I did see. St. Kilda's are well done on the win as well. Beautiful there. St. Kilda. Well, they're looking very good. Rostine's got the best and the best of this team. Carlton. They are struggling. And they kick four. 9-15. That's not great. That's not great. You lose about 39 points over St. Kilda. St. Kilda just took over with the win. They stunned very, very well. They are a very good team. Everything that for a long time under Rostline, generally the St. Kilda Football Club, generally, they haven't found the best of the best. But I should put Carlton and St. Kilda. Let's find out. Starts with Carlton. Well, before we get to that top five players, I am going to do that right now. I'll then share the stats, then we'll wrap it up into the last two games. So, best players, I'm doing a little bit different. But I'll share my best player at the end of this stat. So, well done to the top five for Colton. Oliver fool. Nick Newman, St. Walsh, Adam Carr, and Birdie King. St. Kilda, Royal Marshall, Nasha Wingley Miller, Jack Sinclair, Mitch Owens, and Van Wicke. Now, the sack for this game. Well, can it be better? Could it be worse? Could be anything can happen in a game of football between the Blues and the Saints. I'm gonna say 9.15 Colton, 69, St. Kilda, 16 12, 108. 39 point victories in St. Kilda. Now, the start off one I'm gonna say is seven goals to five, favorite Colton. Start Carlton by 12 and the main break. Colton only kicked. This really changed complete. Two goals, eight. That's how they lost the game. And I lost by 39 points. But they kicked. My goodness, nine goals by 59. Two goals, 12 points, and 8 points. 20. 20 by 59. That makes sense. Basically, it's 39 points, is that correct? My calculations. 59 plus 20. 59 minus 20 equals 39. That's just unbelievable. I have a don't know how. But anyway, 10 stack, five of the games, last two games. What? Oval, total clearunges, St. Kilda, Centre Cleonges, St. Kilda, Stoppages, St. Kilda. Now, those last two, acid center and the stoppages, clearing this. They were tight. They were under between about, we'd just say five exactly. Of my number. It's less than ten. If you're in five a difference, means it's very tight. Ten to oval, painful. Eight differences and out. Why Carlton lost it. Not against anything. Marking. Beautiful. 118 apiece. Tackles. Wow. Pretty even. But favour, in favour, saying 47 to 40. You know in that 60 tackle. It's a very good effort there. Far right hand 81 or 50 plus. Means they're much 13. So much m better. Very well even. They didn't want to tackle. They may not be a very good tackling team. They may not want to be a tackling team in the way of their gameplay. But they have the tackle to make the pressure. We will have for one point. So the game of players. I've been waiting for to share this now. Carlton Fest on my screen. I can't go past player that he can play. Boy, he can play. And he gave it all. He gave it, he really did gave it all. And I'm not I'm not I can't lie on that. But you can't just hit two tablets, 13 mark. 28 dispossess with Nick Newman. Well done with 122 Aval Fancy. Really hit that defense, hit that full line. Beautiful. Score involvements. 27 meters game. May not hit that minute in the midfield, but hit 1850 minutes. Right was four, but that's okay. Alright, the next player I'm going to now is Saint Sudder. Saint Clore's best player. And I'm going to give it to Where's Jess? Where could it into? Well, so hard to pick a player. And Dapsolutkin kick goals, hit in the Rutland, Royal Marshall, 22 disposals, three goals, nine marks, three tackles, 124 Able fancy. Well he included 10 hit outs. So he did very, very well in that. About 48 in defense, but he hit 32, 52 foot heart. He included five score involvement for 74 meters gain, 89 and a half minutes on ground, 11 and 10 bounce potentials with the full appearance. So one of our marshall and two cold and newman. Sunday football doubleheader, Sydney Swans, Melbourne Demons at the SEG with followed by the finish up Gold Coast Suns. And she don't ask Giants to wrap things up. Let's do Sunday tickets. Let's go down here. It's now time to celebrate the most important I went to school with. Before I get into this game, we also got the Gold Coast Suns and DG Giants Giants. We got two games. Now the reason why this team, Sydney Swans, Melbourne, and the high schooling environment. Nice day. We are celebrating a legend of all time. 250 AFL games. His earn is amazing. He's made a few grand finals. You don't get that very often in your AFL career under 250 games. The most important part is this fella has been improved one of the best Rucks, in my opinion, in the AFL. Not that I knew this person from Hubborough, the school I went to, but I played that. He got dragged to go to Collingwood, made a grand final, then he moved to Melbourne, then he moved to Sydney. 250 games later, it's incredible. Well I, mate, you have proved you can play. Keep improving. After we go from that Swans Demons game, we'll then over to the Gol Cloud Suns hosting the Judas Giants, the Sunday night football. It's now time to share this game. I would like to once again body grinding, mate, on your 250th and the win. Melbourne came to town and pulled on a show with Well Aquasy. They did play full course of football. They have shown Stephen King is the right for the job. Since Goodwin have left, he's now assistant at Sydney Swans. I gotta say, Perfect before he at the SEG with the final school 1917-130, one defeated 17, well, 114. High school in football. It's been happening this season. And that's great. Now, I'm gonna share that this quarter. Both teams started with five goals. So it's gonna be really entertainment. Then five goals to Sydney, Melbourne, two goals. Sydney by 22 points. It was a bit more than that. But we know both teams get three goals in the first quarter. Then wow. Melbourne, seven goals, six goals, 13 goals for the quarter. Let's just say that's a massive game. And that's the five into two teams. Mel won that quarter. And stats, the most important part of this game, I'm gonna share. And boy, I've got to say right now what I actually stats this was. So I'm gonna start off with that. Players of games, top best five. Let's get into it. So the next one we're gonna share is a scene stacks as I mentioned before. So just both more like Sydney just dominated. Totally one of the best. 125. That's the best team in the AFL right now. 43 gigs overall, 20 piece. Perfect. Hit out. 40 under 15. That's been around the average at the moment. 95, 56. Well, that's a pretty good F for marking, Favorite Sydney. The tackling. This really makes the pretty even. 121. If I got that correct, 123 tackles overall. 61, 62. And guess who has more tackles? Adelaide Cross. So, big winners there for 17 points. Highest scoring. And look at the stack makes a big difference. Now we've done that. We're gonna make this nice and short and sweet because we've got still got a lot to share. Max Gorn, Harry Snap, Ed Longman, Tom Strong, and Kane Chandler. So Melbourne Best and Brown, best player for the game. I can't go past one player or another. But Dominator's pretty good effect. I'm gonna give it to him. Tom Doubo. Angle 21 to spots with Finn Mark. Ten tackles, one goal with the two minus. 101 AFL Density. He was in a midfield. So he's a midfield folder. Six goal and forward was one goal. Include 111 minutes. Almost 100%. 508 meters game, 29 send about attendance, and six clearance. Well done to Tom. Ooh. The next one. The most important, I can't bypass this player. 45 hit out. 26 disposal. One goal. 128 disposal. I think we know who we're talking about. I'll share it if you're not unsure. That's okay. 12 score involvement. He's everywhere with 360 meters game. 45 hit out. That is 35 cents of bounds, attendance wins 1100. He also had 98. Right. Contest. Buddy Grundy, you're my player of the game. Well done on your 250th. Let's now get to the Well of the Gold Coast Suns and the Judas Giants at People's First Stadium. Then we'll go straight into the sample. Update here in the Adelaide South Australia, local football. The host plus league. There's so many ways I want to share right now, and I'm really appreciated. I hope you are all enjoying this episode. It is long episodes, but that's okay. This is what I like about this game. I love footy in so many levels. There is entertainment, there is price scoring, and we have official. We have crowds. We have stick, we have a ball. It's shape at the eye. But one's the most important thing is I love playing it. And I'm going to share my the game we play against Kilburn very soon and who we're playing next. And I'm going to share this very briefly about the each Hack on and all of Joy. There's 18 overall, seven reverse. And I play for the Canonworth I League. It's under the SANFL, inclusively that quarter, but that quarter known as I League. Final game. I'm going to include that little bit. Gold Coast and the Giants go head to head at people's thirts. Now, nothing else I can say. 111783 defeated 815-63. Gold Coast with the win. I can't believe after four weeks, one month, Gold Coast back on the win list. Giants, they're fighting man, the no Gold Coast are a good side. I don't see the Gold Coast really being that top four. I'm a bit unsure where they are. Giants, it's the same. But there is unsure where G Down's Giants are. I don't see them playing finals, in my opinion. Especially that. And they do play six. Top six, be surprised how good that can play Timber. They'll not have to say it was that big. It's now time to share the stats. Straight into it. Alright, wow. Pretty even in there, but it's a little bit together. Three kicks. 40 even, my goodness, not even hit 43 kicks. Pretty even that. No one can hit 50 hit out. There's a very unsure where they are as a team. Next stat. And my goodness, the tackling's really getting my my attention. And that is very even. 56-58 favor the giants. That's a very good effort there. You can do that well, you're a good team. Marking. God codes are better in the marking, and they are very strong in that fact. So don't I have to done? Making it nice and strong that bit. Now, how did the quarterback cooler work out overall? God codes came out. Then the giants replied. Then it came out with God codes. And the giants sort of came back. Bay was got codes pack key. 3-4, saying it's 3-4 in the first quarter. First and fourth are basically the same. Now, if God codes get better, they'll want to more than 20 points. So you can say right now, God codes you can make an instant out of 20 plus points. 120 plus points for the team. G Dow S giant, she made about at least 80 points. She made at least three more goals minus. So she made at least 80 plus. And I'll be happy with that. Best players for Gold Coast are John Nobley, Christian Petratta. We have Boo High, We Land, Mac Andrew, Ned Monlone. Best on ground for Gold Coast. It's been very hard between Petratta and Nobley. I'm gonna give it to the most impressive team you can give him with absolute world-earned game of game. I'm gonna do it for John Nobley, 35 spoilers for Mark Swan tackle, one goal, 144 April Fantasy. He knows that includes two scores in always created 827 meters game. Now made that one 300. They had a normal 99.50. They had 99. That was very, very good. So that is my player of the gaming plus 25 per second. And that's pretty impressive. Well done to John Moon. Now we've got to the giant. Final top five I have on my screen, which is Hanover Locky Wakefield, Locky Ash, Carmihan, and Alcamen. The best player for the GWS Giants. I'm going to be very, very hard to give back to Locky Wakefield. Abominations for 305s with five marks, tackles 100, 138, including uncontensification for 535 with seven screen involvement. Healed for 9345 on time on ground.
SPEAKER_02He also had a 50 group with an act of 17, 630 meters again, one athlete on his head.
BJ’s Round 9 Tips
SANFLW Round Wrap
SPEAKER_01Well done to Rocky Wakefield and to John, normally from the Falk Club Suns. Well done to all the best try and my best on grounds. Time to now show into the A full, into the Stanford. There's so much happening in the women's in the host class. Host class is the Stanford competition in Staffordshire Crown. So enough is enough. Well, I've got to say before we wrap it up, this is what I'm gonna say. That's all for round eight. Now it's time to share my thoughts for round nine. That's it from my understanding round. Thursday night, I'm gonna straight straight into it. We have Adult of Stamin with Free and Hall, Dockers, and the Hawthorne Hall. Free and Tall Big Road Ribby Melbourne against the Western Bulldogs and Hawthorne draw with Coningwood and MCG. It's not an over easy tip to choose, but I'm gonna stay with Spree and Taur and at home. Be a good crowd, but 21 points in a close. Three and tall, Friday night, 40 back-to-back gala and the LA Noval to take the stage for Friday night putting. Brisbane and Calder first up. And then a shoot we'll share this right now with Brisbane over massive win over there. At Marble Saber in Melbourne, huge win and a well great Toby Curtin with his first AFL debut. Hopefully, you'll dominate well for the Brisbane. Carleton is not an easy season. They're not having the best season. Loss against the good side in St. Kilda. I'm gonna really give this match a nice and short. Brisbane by 45. Second game, Allied Oval, Hood Alain, Weston Bottles, both coming off losses. Westonbottle lost over Brentle, the best team. Better than Sydney. Court Alain, one point loss in Showdown 59. West Braincook with the big victory there. Fernie say I'm saying put Alane in a close one to 15 points. It should be a good battle. Can the dogs do well with their out their big form? Keith Ford. Sean Darcy will find out very soon. Super Sassa football and let's drive into it with Superfooty. First time it's North Melbourne Sydney at Marble. Look, I'm gonna stay with Sydney. They took a big win over Melbourne at the SCG for the start of Body Grundy's two fifth year. North Melbourne coming off a massive loss and continue with their 15th straight loss to beat over Geelong and Geelong. Well, I'm gonna save for this match, Sydney by 37 points. Giants and the Bombers, the Dons. Can't say too much about this match. I'm going with GJS to win this match. With this coming off, both teams coming off losses. Gold Coast by GJS Giants and Essenham with Brisbane. Giants by 44 points. Gold Coast and St. Kilda go head to head. I'm gonna really say this is the game at least one of the games of the round. It's a pretty hard one with St. Kilda big over Carlton. Gokos over GJS Giants. Now I'm gonna go for upset and I'm saying, well, St. Kilda on the road on the Gold Coast by 13 points for this match. Be surprised that Gokos could take big win here. Next one, the MCG we win really interesting match. So what's me could be the game, the entertainment of the round. Especially for this one. Geelong Polling with the U that vital or they cease two hate each other. Geelong, big winners in the 15th win straight in history over North Melbourne down at Geelong. Collingwood draw over Hawthorne. In Shure Go 4, it's a tough decision. Geelong buying a close one, 24 points. Sunday ticket. We have Mother's Day football. Demons and Eagles at Marble. Well, what I'm gonna say is Melbourne lost by 10. Well, a loss in Sydney and the SEG against the Sydney Swans. West Coast lost in Perth against the Wismond Tigers got their first win of the season. Melbourne Demons at Marble by 25 points. Final game, not just for Mala's day, and hope you're all having a great day as well. And hopefully you'll do well. Richmond and Adelaide, both teams coming off wins. Adelaide against Port Adelaide and showing in 59. West Bay and Cooks. And ones I say, once again, the crutch time. Richmond, 10 points over and perfect, not easy to do. Now it's gonna be interesting. MCG, could we get a 40,000? I'll obviously 50,000 for Richmond supporters in Adelaide. 40 points to Adelaide to win this. And I tell you right now, I think Adelaide will do well. Time to share that. That's at the most points game. What will I say? How much both of you? I do apologize. We have shared that already. We are done with my previews for round nine. Free until Brisbane, put Adelaide Sydney Swans, the Garris Giants, St. Kilda Geelong, Melbourne, and Adelaide. They are my thoughts. Let's before we go, I'm gonna sell my shnabelle reviews, no previews, as that's a little bit different to the April reviews. Alright, let's get right now to the SNFLW, followed by the SNFL me. Now it's time to share the SNFLW reviews. We only got four games and fourteens. We had like a 40 festival down at Nordover with this Cooper Stadium. If you know that from Gatherround, we have round three reviews. We had some big games. We got big victories. Let's drive into it. Central District. Well, they took the win. Got 5-10-40. Defeated. Woodsville West Times. 8-7-55. Well done to Woodville, West Times with the win. Now time was North Adelaide and South Adelaide go head to head. 6-point victory to North Adelaide. Roosters over Savage. South LA Pandas. Final score 4-6-30 to 3-6-24. We have been interesting. Our second draw for the season for the SNFL W. West Adelaide and Sturt go head to head. 2-3-15 apiece. Final game, Norton Glenell. Nort took the victory. 7-13-55. Defeated 2-3-15. United between West Adelaide and Sturt, Glennell joined the party with two goals.

SANFL Men’s Results And Upsets
Final Thanks And Sign Off
SPEAKER_01Well, we're now done. We go into the SNFL men's competition. Round five. Reviews. LA Crows and Put LA Met Pies. We've got five guns. That's all we have. 10 teams. We have the final score. LA Crows Fortune just went down by 20 points in a high scoring. LA Crows 15, 898. Put LA 810-118. Went on put LA Met Pies was the win. The upset of the round, it's been a long time since South LA traveled down Glenelgan taking a big win. They got confidence, South Valley Pandas over the Central District Bulldogs. Here we are. Glenelg and South Valley Pandas is the next one. We have 7-12-54. Glenelg, South Valley Pandas. 11-10-76. The record is broken. The runners are South Valley have done it perfectly. Well done on the win. 22 points, one point. It does not matter. Hag on one of the best teams in the SNFL. And they did it in pride. The next one we have, we'll share it after this one. And Bahn's so proud to be an Wood supporter. That's right. West Allen stir at Witchman Oval. The upset of the round. The Plenty ship plenty up set of the round. West Alai took the win. 9-11-65 defeated 8-13-61. West Adelaide have defeated the reigning plenty of sturt double blues by four points. And this proves Nathan Basick wins the right for the job. Attack on the Rain Plainers. West Adelaide have found ways to do the hard ways, and they recruited perfectly. Red on Sturt Heads up. We know there's always next week. And there is. So North Adelaide and West Horns Eagles are Wood for Eagles. They took the win, but it's North Adelaide that can flip 10-28 defeated 15-7-97. One more game on our chat. It's Central District and Norwood. Norward took the big wins. And this is not just a win, it's a victory. Central District 2-10-22. Nord 10-11-71. And I can't believe that overall, Norward and Woodville took the highest scoring for the round. Central District, Central District are the lowest score over North Anlane. You can prove that they are struggling for keyboards overall. So that's it. All good. Wow. Okay, let's wrap this episode up. Also, much for listening here on this episode. I hope you enjoy it.
