The Unconventional Therapists' Guide to Nothing
Guide to the Tulsa Race Massacre of 1921
In the spring of 1921 a suburb outside of Tulsa Oklahoma the black community of Greenwood aka Black Wall Street was thriving. Greenwood was one of the most affluent neighborhoods in America, and all this in the face of Jim Crow era laws. Tensions were high with the neighboring white communities who were failing especially in comparison with Greenwood. The area was a ticking time bomb that exploded. The white community failing to compete would destroy Greenwood by burning 35 blocks of business and residences, and murdering up to 300 people. Join Dave and Greg as they unpack this covered up atrocity and try to understand how this all happened.
