For some of us, it may not be something we placed great importance but for others, memories of hand-me-downs, making sure they take extra care of it to make them last longer, or knowing you had different shoes from your peers. It gives you a good indicator of your relationship with money as a child. That relationship influences how you look at your finances as an adult and how you manifest abundance as an adult.
