Welcome back to podcasting for solopreneurs and FAQ Friday, where I answer a podcasting question in 5 minutes or less. Today's question is, should I start my podcast before I have a business offer? This question comes from Katherine. Hey, Katherine. Thanks for listening. This is a pretty easy question for me to answer. My opinion is a very loud yes. Your podcast helps to establish you as an authority in your space. It helps new people discover you, and then know, like, and trust you.

You're building an audience that's primed and ready to buy something from you. So when you do have an offer, you have a group of people ready to say yes. Your podcast audience can also help you with feedback and market research, as well as help in determining if your messaging is on track. Your episode titles are messaging. Look at which ones get more and less listens and that will tell you valuable information. You can also ask your audience to send you questions so that you can know what their pain points are, and then you can create a business offer that aligns and helps to solve them. So definitely 100%. Yes.

Start your podcast even if you don't have a business offer yet. If you have a podcasting question, click the send me your question link in the episode description, and I'll answer it in an upcoming episode. Until next time. Happy podcasting.
