Retired LT Commander US Coast Guard Kyle Retzlaff and His Healing Journey

This is podcast is the powerful story and personal journey of Retired LT Commander US Coast Guard Kyle Retzlaff. Kyle is a Holistic Coach + Energy Healer + Facilitator of Andean Cosmology. Kyle bravely shares his own deeply personal story of sexual abuse. Kyle is motivated to speak about his own trauma to help normalize the discussion of sexual abuse so that these stories can’t be hidden any longer.
Kyle is a mental health advocate with a passion for assisting others working to find their path to internal peace. Having started life in the Midwest, he joined the military and was stationed at various locations throughout the country, eventually returning Illinois, where he still resides.
After serving nearly 35 years in the United States Coast Guard and the reserves Kyle was left struggling with my own mental health. He reached out for help with PTSD and personal energy healing journey began in 2013 with yoga, meditation, and later breathwork. After experiencing the feelings of joy and peace these brought to Kyle, he wanted to share with others who are in need. In 2018, Kyle started working toward becoming a holistic coach. He is now training for certifications in breathwork and Reiki to help strengthen that role. Kyle will also be starting a PhD program next year.
