Today we have a one off series of conversations recorded at the launch of the Pittsburgh Steelers into an island of Ireland marketing partnership.

We spoke to the Head of NFL Europe Brett Gosper, to GAA President Larry McCarthy and first of all to Dan Rooney, the Director of Business development and Strategy with the team and part of the fabled family that own the franchise.  That was a good place to start the conversation.

Bringing a game here is a complex process, so is it realistic in the next couple of years, we asked that of Head of NFL Europe Brett Gosper.

The day was hosted at Croke Park and there is a clear link with the GAA as part of what might arise from this new venture, as we heard about from GAA President Larry McCarthy.

It is an exciting prospect and one we will be following closely over the next couple of years.
