Let us know what’s on your mind
In today's Podcast we are returning to our Insights series looking at research into the world of sport and activity, and placing it in a meaningful context
Benny Cullen is our guest for this episode and the subject is the Irish Sports Monitor published in the last few days as well as research into the sporting and activity levels of children across the island of Ireland.
We take a dive into the numbers around the sports we play, the reasons we are active, the barriers we have to overcome and the lessons we can learn on how to do things better.
There are high points such as the fact that 96 percent of children are active every week, and 92 percent of children with a disability, but there are sticky numbers as well around socio economic gradients and how it is proving more difficult to manage improvement in certain areas.
