Our Women in Sport partners are Lidl who have been great champions of Ladies Football at every level over the past six years and long into the future as well.

It was a great morning and one of the stars was a woman who has been a trailblazer in pressing the case for women being involved as players, administrators, match analysts and as President of the Camogie Association.

Liz Howard is a tough cookie and does not suffer fools so it was with a little trepidation that I welcomed her onto the stage but I never need have worried.
