Sheng-Hung Lee

Sheng-Hung Lee is a designer, engineer, and educator dedicated to advancing human-centred design and systemic service innovation. A Ph.D. candidate at MIT, he researches human behaviour and service design, while serving as a Board Director at the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA). With dual master’s degrees in Integrated Design & Management and Mechanical Engineering from MIT, and undergraduate degrees in Industrial Design and Electrical Engineering from NCKU, he bridges creativity and technical expertise. Professionally, he has worked at IDEO and Continuum on product, service, and strategy projects. At MIT AgeLab and the Ideation Lab, he explores Design for Longevity (D4L), inclusive design, and smart homes. His work is widely published, and through roles with IDSA and WDO, he champions design’s role in shaping future human experiences.
