RECLAIM THE PRESENT
Has anyone ever told you to “just be”—as in, just be yourself?
If that pissed you off, scared you, or confused the hell out of you…
Yeah, me too.
If that’s ever been your experience, there’s something here for you—truth, connection, maybe even a path back to yourself.
Welcome to the Reclaim The Present Podcast.
The last few years brought some of the hardest challenges of my life, and I’m not holding anything back.
I’m sharing everything that helped me—every lesson, every resource, and the people who guided me back to the present.
If this helps even one person—or one family—feel better, heal, or just find the strength to make it through another day…
Or better yet—
to stop surviving… and start living again…
That means everything to me.
You’ll hear my voice here—coming from a place of truth, love, connection, and the deep belief that you are not alone.
If you’re trying to heal so your kids don’t have to—you’re my people.
You’re not alone here.
RECLAIM THE PRESENT
A Fathers Duty To Serve And Protect
Colleen and Jay from the Reclaim Team meet with Detective Scott Runge. Scott serves as a Deputy at the Benton County Sheriff's Office and is on the South East Regional ICAC Task Force. He also shares his background and what got him into law enforcement, specifically Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. His journey was not an easy one, but it forged his way into one of the jobs most LEO professionals do not want. Scott has a remarkable story of how he became a protector, support system, and a adopting father to a child he was called on to serve and protect that had been brutalized and sexually abused by a member of her own family. The family then rejected the child for speaking up. He talks about one of the greatest honors of walking this adult daughter proudly down the aisle for her marriage.
Scott takes us on a journey to the dangers and safety concerns currently presented to our children/teenagers via video games, phone applications, chatrooms, and social media platforms and more.
