Moments after the NFL officially awarded Las Vegas the 2029 Super Bowl at its annual Owners Meetings Monday in Phoenix, confetti cannons shot off towards a glittering tile mosaic in front of Allegiant Stadium.

Organizers from the Raiders and the Las Vegas Visitors and Convention Authority put on the local news conference to coincide with the announcement. They had a similar plan at the event’s forebearer, in December 2021 when Las Vegas was awarded its first Super Bowl set for February 2024, but the proceedings back then were tucked inside without as much flash.

The production was amped up this time around. Consider it a taste of what's to come with Super Bowl 63 in February 2029.
