It's Wednesday Las Vegas. Here's what you need to know from the Las Vegas Sun. The Vegas Golden Knights are heading back to the Stanley Cup final. Carter Hart delivered another standout performance last night to give Vegas a series win against the Colorado Avalanche. It was a sweep, and now they go to the back to the Stanley Cup final. They'll face either Carolina or Montreal with Game One set for June 3rd on the road. Remember, it's been a bumpy season for Vegas. They fired their coach. They couldn't win late games in overtime, but now they've reeled off six straight wins in the playoffs, and they're hot going for a second Stanley Cup win in franchise history. In other news, UNLV's Boyd School of Law is adding an artificial intelligence to its required curriculum for first-year students. Starting this fall, the students will take a course called Introduction to Responsible Use of AI. The course gives students hand-on experience with AI tools while driving home the central message. Just because AI can do something doesn't mean it should. A 300-foot-wide by 150-foot-tall American flag has been draped across the face of the dam, lit up in red, white, and blue. Officials are calling it the most ambitious long-duration installation ever attempted at the historic structure. The display runs through July 4th and was unveiled Monday as part of celebrations marking 250 years of American independence. And finally, a tough winter is turning into a tougher summer. Drought now covers 70% of the West, forcing cities to restrict water use and farmers to abandon their fields. The strain is mounting on Western states and the Trump administration to prevent a collapse along the shrinking Colorado River. Visit Lasvegassun.com for more coverage.
