Former Nevada U.S. Sen. Dean Heller, long aligned with Nevada’s gaming industry, broke sharply with casinos Thursday, defending a prediction market company that is regulated as a financial exchange rather than a gaming operator and arguing that casinos “manipulate everything” to ensure the house wins.
