A lot of us choose careers to make our parent's proud. And most of us aren't even aware of this, or don't want to be aware. A lot of us chase titles and money for the sake of "looking good." We will never feel accomplished if this is our external driving force. We put ourselves in a circle where we are always searching for the next thing. Always trying to fill a gap in our life. Let's stop this. And let's focus on the true driving force of careers: making a difference in the world. Intrinsic values. Ask yourself how you want to contribute to society.
